I have not turned on the heat since we had those nice days in the 70's. :-:

To-do list for tomorrow before work includes appealing the $60 parking ticket I got at my grad school interview.

The university where I had the site visit today actually placed cones to block a space for me in front of the administration building. No complaints from me. And I got a parking citation at UMBC once. Does the university in question offer a discount for paying quickly? I can affirm (from prior job role) parking appeals rarely succeed.

I refuse to pay it. The commuter parking lot was overflowing and I went to another lot so as to be on time for an appointment related to admission to the school. I've been on the campus a whopping sum total of twice before.

Some of the east coast states allow citations to be sent to collections if this is a public school ("debts owed to the state").

sdm1130, if you're around: Sound Connection sent us a demo disc, and anything on it that was recorded after 1965 seems to have digital :rolleyes:ization applied to the tracks. The only unmolested track we have come across is by Dion and the Belmonts. Nothing against Dion, but it seems like everything modern has a beat behind it that is unneccesary. Comment?
