I would rather be in a bed in a Hyatt than on a sofa at the Marriott....

Bought some HEB ice cream today. Yum!

icurhere2/trustguy - our resident Hyatt experts - a question for ya!

I booked several Hyatt nights for next week in FL but it was before Trustguy clued me in to the G1,G2,G3 bonus.

How do I make sure that I get those extra points? Do I ask them to note it when I check in? Or will I need to call GP CS? Or, will I need to "re-do" the reservations?

Yup! I was working with HEB earlier this week, and my internal client went and got ice cream for us from the nearest store. It was yummy. Really good for "own" brand. In fact, she said in blind taste tests it received higher ratings than BlueBell amongst others.

I am now sitting in the lobby of the IAH Marriott on a comfy sofa and will be here until I check in for my flight.

The single thing I miss about being EWR-based are the "day-overs" at the IAH Marriott (get in at 6am, then typically leave 6 or 7pm for the west coast followed by a redeye to EWR) - those beds are amazing. CLE is the same way - most of the time that I have the long CLE layover downtown, it's coming in from a redeye from LAX or LAS and there is just something about being up all night and finally getting to sleep at 7 or 8am that is just exhilarating...

Ditto. I called GPCS today, and she said it will take a few days to work it's way through the system that goes to the hotels. She did say that the correct bonus % and bonus 1000 points will post appropriately.

I hope that all of you have a lovely night. Scott6067 I think is weary from the day....the Irish are triumphant!!! Cheers to anyone who is having a little drink.

Ahh yes, picking the songs for the first dance, bride/father, groom/mother, bridal party and cake cutting songs... SO much fun! :)

I'd throw out some suggestions based on what we picked, but I think your style is a bit different...

Thank goodness we didn't have to do any of this nonsense for our wedding in the UK! We had a live pianist and he played whatever we wanted. He was amazing. He was also free. He was our best man's half brother!

methinks you might be needing to give Scott6067 some TLC in the morning!

Give him a big hug and kiss from Brituchenite and tell him I'm so happy for him.
