The grounds at Ferrari-Carano in Sonoma are ^ as well.

That looks stunning. Google maps says about 02:30 from SMF, so probably can't work it in to a quick day-trip, but am definitely bookmarking it for future reference.

First time lighting up the grill this year, too. Good stuff.

I'm still in awe of the guys grilling at the Winter Olympics. Not that it was cold, just the juxtaposition.

Good evening, Box.

I submit that 99% fat free ground turkey meat is not a good idea.

That is all.

I went to quite a few of those last time, as well. Goosecross was a very nice place to spend an hour. However, I just love the grounds and scenery at Mondavi, and they really do provide an excellent tour (though it is certainly pricey).

Agreed. While I am not a big fan of the low and mid-range Mondavi wines, the Mondavi winery tour is an excellent experience.

Last night we had a rotisserie from Kroger. Not recommended. So far, Costco is a clear winner!

Chandon Tour, on the other hand... sucks donkey product (even though I enjoy their sparkling Pinot Noir).

We enjoyed it very much. The rain prevented a walk through To Kalon vineyard, but the grounds themselves are just magnificent. We're not really wine people...I went more than anything to put a visual to some of that which was discussed in the book.

The tasting trio today included a Pinot Noir Reserve and IIRC the '06 Cab. No complaints there.

My foot is still . Tonight, I've turned to Icy Hot and an Ace bandage in hopes that it will ease the pain. Walking through airports on Thursday evening could be very interesting if this thing doesn't heal...

I think I have Wii-itis in my right elbow. It hasn't stopped aching for several days now.

Feel better. Any idea as to what it might be?
