Now they've down graded the snow I'm supposed to get. 5" tonight and 1-2 inches tomorrow morning.

If i stay on original ones I should be ok but then again i can try to get to JFK and NYC earlier and spend more time there!

What are you currently scheduled for and what type of aircraft.

If I move to the earlier flight I would be on an EMB 175 into JFK. If I stay on current flight I would be on Airbus 320 into JFK. From BNA the early flight gets an airbus and the late flight an EMB 175. I would think either would be good aircraft from CLT to JFK!

It's now raining in NYC -- according to the weather reporters -- clear snow/rain line to the east of EWR, apparently!

They are still expecting snow in the morning. I don't know how that will effect air travel. E175 should do well but a A320 will do better than the 175. I know that doesn't really help.

Looking at a report at EWR parking lot and it's slushy.

Si, senor.

P.S. I have no idea how to access the character map on a Mac.

Option-n and then n again yields ñ. It took me forever to remember how to do é. Still can't remember how to do the accent going in the other direction.

Dumb requirement IMO.

My understanding is that it is a direct response to the USA requiring visas from Brazilian nationals.

Enjoy the sun! It is much better than the snow and gloom here.

Where's the snow at? 1 inch on my driveway.

Not even sticking to the roads or driveways yet here. It is supposed to snow overnight, and they're still talking about six to 12" here (probably worse north of the city than west, where I live). I'm hoping that it will stop early enough so that there is only a school delay tomorrow and not another day off.

I suppose it's a good thing that my travel this winter has been extremely light. I've only had to travel during one of these storms.

Yes, it's very slushy here -- yucky to drive in! I am just hoping that the temps don't drop & everything freezes up -- it's will be really  then!
