Still old Elite Priority Desk number

When I logged in to my account today and checked the elite priority desk number, it still displays old number 1-8xx-xxx-2005.
This may mean they have not shipped single elite kit yet (at least for Gold).

CONTINENTAL:
WHERE IS MR ELITE CARD?

I mean, for christs sake! If I run into chansbondy tomorrow, whilst trying to perform the upgrade flirt on Big Brenda in a nervous sweat to secure the last FC upgrade for my <$200 transcon, how will he know to grovel as he is in the presence of a Plat?

Oh well, at least the elite line still works... (knock on wood)

I remember from my days as an office boy that the post office gives a discount when you sort all of the mail by zip code. Maybe CO has a team of interns sorting all of our Elite cards.

And to think when I was in SFO earlier this month and I told the GA who said "Please have your 2006 Elite Cards ready if your BP does not say Elite Access" they didnt' go out yet - she told me "Yes they did I've seen them" MAN I'd like to know who has one in that case...

CO axed their intern program circa 9/11

Shame too as I've heard it rumored them interns are a good source of cheap, skilled labor.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

This is cutting it too close for my comfort because I have four coach class flights on partner airlines to, from, and within Europe between March 17 - 26. If I don't have my card prior to the first departure, I guess I will not be allowed to check in at the business class counter on any of my flights.

Pilots I think were part of the program - but no on the GA/FA/rampers. Pilots, Accounting, Legal and Mechanics were the four main areas, IIRC.

Perhaps they have trouble finding an available 1-8xx-xxx-2006 number?
