DirecTV then switch to SKY or another European carrier.

Only in BF, but it can be readily expanded into Y once CO can afford to do so.

That will not come in to play until the switch out the seats, which seems to be high on the list for CO.

In case any one is wondering, here is the latest on the 752:

6 out of 41 in the fleet are now completed. No mention of a projected completion date.

Just a heads up for folks scheduled to fly on a AVOD 752, there are standard power plugs UNDER the economy seats. These are NOT (stupid) "empower" ports, but plugs that take regular US/UK/euro plugs.

Sounds great! I can't wait to bring my toaster oven on board and fire it up mid flight!

Well, make sure at least one of your fellow passengers isn't plugging in HIS toaster oven. I think Jeff Smisek says in the DO that the system is so robust that it can handle everything unless EVERYBODY plugs in his toaster oven. Or something like that...

EmPower isnt soo bad at the time of its introduction it was very decent...

Standard 110V outlets are going to be a major improvement

Oh great----Next thing we know people will be bringing their curling irons, blow dryers, electric razors, and travel irons out mid-flight!

@:-) Of course, hot-air popcorn poppers could be a nice treat for a transcon!!
