It's only on certain flights. The winter EWR-CDG schedule shows the 777 remaining, and the 762 flight alternating between the 762 and 752 depending on day of week.

Anyway, EWR-CDG is shorter than a lot of the other EWR-Europe 752 routes being offered.

Please, how many of us would want to be in Y on ANY flight?

And these birds will get rotated domestic as well...

Could be the first in the U.S. to have true AVOD on domestic flights (given NW doesn't use the 330s for anything intra-U.S.).

This one caught my interest on that page:

One of the highest ratios of cabin crew to passengers (1 to 8) of all airlines
I know that AA's J class on its 763 fleet has a 1:7.5 ratio (4 crew, 30 pax). Are any other airlines better?

Who knows... maybe it's the start of a CLE-CDG/AMS that our Cleveburg'ers lust over. ;)

Just experienced this

Just took CO39 from OSL-EWR (New Years Day) and experienced the AVOD.

They had about 20 movies, 4 short programs (scrubs, will and grace, etc) and 40 CDs -- everything from Alison Kraus to Guns and Roses Appetite for Destruction!!!!

The system had to be reset twice (very early in the flight), but otherwise, things worked quite smoothly -- although one of the flight attendants thought it was a bit problematic.

I could be wrong (the GF says I'm often wrong, but I digress), but from a techno geek perspective, I think its Linux running on Intel processors, and some type of modified Windows Media Player interface.

All in all, its pretty sweet.

I have not yet experienced this purported configuration. ;)
