Will My CO/VS codeshare flight EVER post to OnePass?
Ok, only one thing stands between me and PLAT qualification, the 3,458 OnePass miles I'm due to receive for flying on CO8237 (VS7) from LHREWR on 19DEC. This was the return leg of an EWRCDG outbound flight on CO. Do these people ever "get it right" in terms of crediting FF miles automatically, or is it a foregone conclusion that I'll need to write a letter and send in my boarding pass to Houston? Granted it hasn't yet been a full week, so maybe I'm jumping the gun. Does anyone fly the EWRLHR codeshares often enough to have some metrics on whether crediting ever occurs automatically, and, if so, how long it usually takes? Many thanks; happy holidays.

My 5,500 miles from SFO to LHR in October haven't posted yet. I was told that I need to send in proof of travel to the nonepass center.
Go ahead and send you stuff in, and miles should be credited

I had the same problem as you. I flew a CO codeshare with VS in early November. One month later I still had not seen it post my account. I called the OnePass Service Center and was lucky enough to talk to a very knowledgeable rep. She explained that they get tapes containing partner activity data from Virgin every week, and it seemed that the weekly tape that probably had my flight on it was never received, and never loaded into OnePass' system, and may never ever be loaded. She gave me the impression that it's not unusual for some tapes to never show up. (BTW- she mentioned they get the updates on Sunday)
I needed that flight to get me over the 75,000 EQM. I had to mail in copies of my boarding pass and receipt. My flight posted Dec 24, with Platinum Elite bonus (thanks to cigarman, I didn't have to fight for the 125% bonus).

If I were you, I would just go ahead and mail in your ticket number and boarding stubs. Don't send copies, or they will just send them back. I was very irritated by that, but whe I called, they explained to me that the failure for the miles to post is the fault of Virgin to send the data to Continental, and that VS requires CO to submit the originals for payment to CO. I explained that I bought my ticket from CO and not from VS, but the data comes from the check-in point (VS). I was told that currently VS is taking 6 weeks to send the miles over on "computer tapes" (is that antiquated or what?). I was also treated like a third-class citizen on VS with my CO ticket, and have formally complained to VS about that.

Just say "no" to Virgin. My 8/2003 flight still hasn't posted and I earned those miles the hard way because the VS flight crew was actually b#tchier than a CO flight crew -- if that can be believed.

I have flown VS on a codeshare CO flight twice since Nov...had the same problem...if you purchased the ticket through CO and they can pull the ticket number they should be able to credit you...but then again this depends on the rep you speak with...most default to the "send your boarding pass to us"...which is annoying...so try contacting CO and maybe you will get a helpful rep who wont make you have to wait longer and send the info in...good luck...it is a work out for these VS flights!!!

I had the same problem. Never posted even though booked through CO and my ff number was right on the boarding pass. Finally had to mail everything in. They sure don't make it easy for you.

Still waiting on a November flight. the outbound posted in 7 days, the return never posted.. same **** ticket too, I sent in a written request with all the required information and their stupid partner mileage request form, and never rec'd credit. Today I sent a 2nd request to those nonepass monkeys. And if they ever wonder why I'm on AA metal in 04.. here is one of the many many reasons CO is a distant memory

I'm in the same boat having mailed them, too. I called just now and got a nice agent who looked it up via ticket number, checked with someone, and said that was enough to post it. She said give it 24-48 hours, and it'll show up. Crossing my fingers.</font>

Well, it just updated and appears correct. So stay on top of them and keep trying until you get your VS miles!

Wow, my VS flight LHR-IAD from November just posted today... although I had to back into it b/c the OP website couldn't provide detailed current account activity at this time; now that is a surprise isn't it
