1) Should we have another event? : YES I know it will be in Houston but would have preferred EWR. (2006 would be the best for me).

2) Would it be beneficial or just a get together. : A little bit of both.

3) Would the simulators be interesting? : YES

4) Would FLight training be interesting? : Yes, I could get an advanced rating and change my name to CommercialPilot :D

5) How about the operations center downtown? Yes

6) Want to see Larry's office? Sure, why not.

I attended last time, and would certainly attend again. An event that takes us down to the operations center would be especially fascinating.

Cigar,
Any updates?

I love H-Town, rodeos, liars, money, unbounded optimism, and great basebell.

Cigarman,

We need to round up more women for this event. ^ I was unable to attend the last one, but there was definitely a shortage :td: from the photos I saw. You know, I know a girl from my high school that is an "entertainer" at Heartbreaker's in Clear Lake, maybe can get some sort of discount running for The Do. :D :D :D

Did somebody say, "I love H-Town, rodeos, liars, money, unbounded optimism, and great basebell." yet forget the brazen women, pansexuality of the cowboys, and crooked cops?! Looks like I'm gonna have to plug in my favorite description of my good ol' home town. :D

J.Edward, cheers to you my friend, it seems that you are the only other unabashed supporter of the Great City of Slime (to quote Marvin Zindler). I don't live there right now, but I am using it as my excuse for my first run to Gold Status for 2006.

'STROS WIN!

Absolutely interested for all aspects, especially flight training/sim tours.

Will be great to get back down there and see everyone again.

Yes, I would be very interested in a second event.
I would love to see Chelsea catering and the office side.

I missed the last one - it was the weekend I was moving to Houston. Would love to go to this one. Answers below:

1. YES
2. Its always good to raise money - but sticking to a non-contoversial cause is touch. Even the Red Cross has detractors.
3. YES
4. YES (but will DHS allow?)
5. That would be great (I have visions of a "Mission Contol"-like setup - maybe I'm over-anticipating?)
6. Only if its a middle coach seat LOL.

Ewr

Let's ask for EWR, even if we only get the little cheese.

zeusscu Oct 12, 2005 7:18 pm

Count me in!

psalflyer Oct 13, 2005 10:03 pm

Since I wasn't around for the last one, I would definitely be interested this time around. And since I am in Houston, Houston is just fine with me.

MarcoBJ Oct 14, 2005 12:26 am

Cigarman -

Can you give us some more specifics as far as what weekend in Jan or Feb?

Thanks.
