Count me in too!

ijuster Oct 14, 2005 1:32 pm

Yes to all and unfortunately, yes to Houston. Are you thinking before 2006?

ijuster Oct 14, 2005 1:35 pm

What about a cigar event to follow?

I will be able to attend this one no problem....I made arrangements with my job to take time off when I want to and not get in trouble. After missing the last one I was pissed off so I did something about it :) Now I can go to this one no problem.........and YES to every question........

I feel like that can be accomplished. Jim Compton is a great guy.

Thanks.

I belive the dates will be friday night January 27th and Saturday Jan 28th. Not completly firm, but that's what it looks like. I also belive there will be a HARD CAP of 500 attendees. We will have to limit in order to see the cool stuff like simulators. Cigar

But preference would be given to those die-hards that attended the previous DO, right? ;)

I certainly will figure out some priority method. Perhaps elite status? Perhaps a certain amount of plats, less golds, and fewer silver, and even less non elites? I certainly have no desire to give priority to people who flew united and american to the last do...
I am open for suggestions on how to limit the event to the people who will appreciate it and deserve it the most.

I have been sitting this one out waiting for some dates, but January looks pretty good for us. Yes to all. We were very disappointed that we were unable to make the last DO, but as some people on here know, we are slaves to two things: school vacations and quarter-ends. Luckily, late Jan has neither of these. Well sure, its my daughter's sweet-sixteenth, but hey, we can have that party on ANY weekend :D . Count us in!

I'm in again. Priority? Elites yes, but make room for all who were there last time and "founded" the event with you, making it the best FT event ever.

Vulcan Oct 17, 2005 12:23 pm

Likewise, I'm in. Possible Sondra as well, pending some other things being on a different date.

If you are having a numbers issue, why don't you close the event to spouses and significant others?

WayMaker Oct 17, 2005 10:39 pm

Yes, I'm very interested. Yes to all questions of the OP. Sorry I couldn't make the last one.

Converting my high interest level into actually showing up is a matter of schedule.

Yes for More miles in 2006

Count me in for a repeat.

I hope CO gives a better estimate to catering for the event, so they will be able to lower some fares in 2006. Seems like there was a lot of unused seats and food.
No need for loud rock music. Just some conversation friendly background music. What happened to dining music and classical? :(
