1) Yes, I'd love another event... and wouldn't mind it happening this year.

2) Any time with CO management is benefical.

3) Simulators would definitely be interesting.

4.) Flight training could be interesting. Other interesting places: catering, cargo, operations.

5) Yes

6) If it's like any other office in America, nah. But if it's something cool and unusual like within a frame of a 767, sure.

As much as I'd love an EWR visit, IAH will be fine. Is it possible for smaller groups to happen with regional management too at EWR or even HNL/GUM? I'd go to any of those cities to meet/chat with the locals.

I suppose CO won't be bringing any blue Elite Access carpets to this next event? (Or perhaps whomever took the first could return it to this one.)

Yes to all. I just comped over to CO elite for my travel in 2006 in no small part from my experiences in the last event. I second Channa's idea to have smaller focus groups to provide feedback on specific issues or ideas CO may have as well as input the group can provide.

yes - more Q & A, possibly submit questions in advance so specific department officers, ie: one pass, co.com, we care, presidents club, etc... can prepare thoughtful, accurate answers. we can probably compile a list of questions, catagorize, and rate them for importance right here on ft.

Yes to all of the above. Hold in IAH. Many of us missed the behind the scenes tour of the baggage handling - do to running late - and needing to get back for the 3pm presentation.

My tour group only got the PC and the International arrivals area - both places I see normally as a passenger. Allow more time for the tours.

Yes to all. I'm coming and bringing friends. I'm in for poker as well. I've been practicing.

I think focus groups would be a great idea. There's some obvious topics folks are interested in discussing and, if done well, could provide valuable feedback to CO.

Yes to all of the above. I unfortunately had to miss this year's event due to a family wedding, so I'd love to have another event to go to.

Yes, on all suggestions.

I'm a infomation junkie. Anything I can see that would give me a better understanding of the industry is something I'm definately up to.

Gay/"Family" Group Time

It was VERY obvious to me that there were a lot of gay members at the last do. I would recommend that wee have a time set aside to talk to Larry about a gay oriented anf friendly program like American has. I think it woud be awesome. And of course - we could give some fashion tips regarding the new uniforms scheduled for next year.

YES! to 1. --> 6. It would all be fantastic! The DO in April was really great for both sides. I don't know if we "need" one again this year. Maybe ensuring this was a definate annual event so that we know every year we get our "face time" witht he big whigs is a good idea. [after all how many other major companies put on a social/customer relations event in a similar model like Continental did? I'm rather greatful]

Not that I don't want to not having naother meeting, but hey lets face it we take up alot of time, I don't want to distract the people down at Smith Street too much from what matters most; ensuring Continental delivers that safe, comfortable, reliable product we have all become acustomed.

Cigarman - as always we appreciate your activism (so to speak). If we do have another DO this year, perhaps it can be more social with some tours of the OPS/Simulators. As I said before I don't think we "need" another big whigs meeting.

:D

As a RAGING HOMOSEXIAL. I disagree - Continental addresses the "family" issue just fine -- well rather doesnt need to address it because it's 99.9% of the time a non-issue.

What "issues" do we need to bring up?

-Partner Benefits for the Lifetime w/Spouse PC Purchases - I know someone who did that with his partner and when he said the other gentleman was his partner it was a non issue.

-I've never felt discimination as a result of my sexual orientation on CO.

Nuff said.
