Offer is not open to all. It's another "selected audience" promotion. My account did not have the tag on it and they would not let me register.
Called back and tried again. No luck.
Called back, asked for supervisor. No luck.

Any idea on the selection criteria?

I guess once we start hearing about more people who get this, we can draw some conclusions.

I tried registering online like you normally can with the 5-digit numeric offers, but I got:

"You have entered an invalid promotion code. Please revisit the previous page and try again."

I received the "Select" offer in the mail but my bonus miles start at 42,000 with a max of 54,000.

My associate who travels on CO -- with almost identical miles per year did not receive.

Each offer is customized; mine requires 9 RT's by May 31 for 45K miles, with additional incentives that could add up to a total bonus of 60K miles.

My offer requires 10 RT for 50K miles, then 2 more RT for an additional 10K, then another 2 RT for a final 10K. One-way counts for 1/2 trip. Offer NOT good on NW or any code-shares, but it is good on COPA. Still, don't see how I can make this one. I might not even register, but I'll think about this for awhile...

I received mine today also with a goal of 8 trips for 48,000 miles ending with 66,000 miles for 11 trips. I don't know what the selection criteria was. I am platinum living in Houston and my co-worker is silver living in Houston. I don't know what we have in common that would cause us to be targeted for the promotion. I'm just happy I finally was, it seems like Houston residents are not often targeted.

Greetings,

The bonus criteria that I received was as follows:

9 trips = 54,000 OnePass bonus miles
10 trips = 60,000 OnePass bonus miles
12 trips = 72,000 OnePass bonus miles

I've noticed that the award levels and segment requirements are different for those who've previously posted, I would be interested in the criteria that they used to determine the bonus levels for the different members (my level is plat with 182,653 elite miles this year and 36 segments)

I was, as was Iwantanupgrade, surprised, as those of us in Houston are rarely targeted and this was a pleasant surprise.

I'm not very keen on the offer, as one can make about 55,000 miles on a SINGLE B/F r/t to S'pore from Houston (19,988 base miles + 125% platinum + 50% fare basis). However, take what you can get.

Do you guys usually pay more expensive (last minute) fares? I'm Gold and the wife is 971 miles away from Gold and neither of us received this offer. We only travel for leisure, so we always pay cheapo fares. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I do not pay the higher fares unless trying for a BF upgrade. That alone makes it unlikely that I will achieve the bonus levels.
I should say I pay the higher fare only if I can confirmed the upgrade at time of ticketing.

(edited for clarification)

IAH_FLYER,

It's usually Y/H/K to Europe or J/D to Asia, but not more than a ten day notice due to the nature of the work. Not the most economical way, but we get our job done.

I got my invitation in the mail yesterday. I must fly 25 segments within the 6 month time period to receive a bonus of 95,000 miles. I will more than likely reach that number and I appreciate being selected for the program. I do not know the criteria however. I originally thought it just went out to Elite Platinum. Enjoy and fly safe!

26miles

Is it 25 segments or round trips. And am I correct in saying that the cheaper fares booked in Q and T class do not count?

Q and T fares do not count. 25 "flights" means 25 "round trips", according to rep I spoke with. To me a "flight" is a segment (because it has it's own flight number).
Anybody hear a different explanation?
