Tute84: You must be pyschic - just a few hours ago I stopped at the post office to pick up one of those yellow envelopes containing the move materials (I lost the one I picked up last week)
I was confused because no one had confirmed what shipping method was being used in the previous postings (seems AA and UA use UPS and/or other package exprees services, at least for their "top tier" packages). Thanks again for your help.
UPDATE
The snail-mail package arrived today, the last day I'm receiving mail at the old address (how's THAT for timing)?
No Prez Club passes (I'm a member so I'm guessing that's what determines whether you get them - too bad because they're good "boss-butter-uppers")
No Ashford cert either

Mine came today, regular mail, same as the last two years except I didn't get another leather ticket holder, same Platinum luggage tag as last year (Just what I need, another sootkase tag), no new card, same note saying: "The Infinite Elite card already issued to you is still valid."

Mine came today as well.
There WERE Pres Club passes in mine. They are inside the folding marketing brochure for the P Club.

Translator please ....
And kudos of course to Continental for continuing to offer Platinum cards to the infinite elite members (who formerly had the Gold status -previous top level - and the rules were that you would get lifetime gold).

Hey, did anyone else get the $100 gift certificate from Ashford.com in their package? I didn't see any conditions on it, so it seems like a pretty generous gift. Or did I miss something in the fine print?

dgolds: Yes, I received the $100 GC to Ashford as well. Went to their site last night, and found it a little difficult to get anything I'd really want for $100, but that's my problem. I agree, nice little touch.

I got a rock, well ok, I rec'd a letter but no credentials yet.. lol, I still don't have my 2000 card.. which doesn't bother me except when I fly a partner.. seems like they always want to see the **** card ... even though they can look it up.
the letter isn't worth the paper its written on but some will take my printout off the CO website stating my status

Those Platinum luggage tags look like those thingies the stock clerks use to hold their blades to cut open the cardboard cartons.

And another comment from a Gold; the luggage tag was upgraded for us this year to the solid metal "razor blade holder" design (last year it was vinyl around a metal plaque with OnePass on it. Sounds like Plats and Gold got the same luggage tag this year.
I feel so special . . . yeah, right.
