OnePass Can Now Correct EQM Misposts on the Fly!
It's about time...
It's mid-May, and finally the OP Service Center now has the ability to manipulate EQM postings. I called in on a couple misposts just now, 2 minutes on hold, and it's fixed.
I'm not sure when they're going to run the list they've collected of previous errors, but if you're antsy, you can call now!

Let's see -- the EQM nonsense started January 1 and we're already in the second half of May. If this were about collecting money I'm *sure* that they would have gotten their act together within *days*. Instead, this is about customers complaining that they didn't get what they were promised. I'd have asked the rep to put you right through to the supervisor for your 250 miles. What concern is it of yours that they handled this so poorly?

Hi,to be honest, I am very confused about EQM, so maybe someone on this post can clarify my question. Last month, I flew GUM - HNL - GUM on a full "Y" ticket. I am a platinum elite. With this info in mind, can you please tell me how many total miles I will am supposed to earn from this trip (platinum elite bonus miles that don't qualify for EQM), and then how many EQM's I will earn (150% for full Y, etc.) Some background, GUM - HNL is 3801 miles, so a round trip is about 7602 miles. Thank you for your help.

For that trip you should get 150% EQM:
3801*2*1.5 = 11403 Elite status miles
For future travel you should get a 125% platinum bonux:
3801*2 + 3801*2*1.25 = 17104 bonus miles
3801*2*1.5 = 11403 Elite status miles
For future travel you should get a 125% platinum bonux:
3801*2 + 3801*2*1.25 = 17104 bonus miles

Several of the descrepencies in my account that I've disputed since January have now been corrected - and yesterday over 8,000 EQM's posted. I requalified for Platinum in April (even with the incorrect values), so it's more or less a matter of principal for me at this point...
We may disagree with Continental management on the merits of the EQM system, but I don't think they can even begin to claim that the new system was well implimented or administered. If you're within a few thousand miles of the next elite level when December 31st rolls around, I'd take the time to go through your old statements with a fine-toothed comb.... The people who follow FT will get what they deserve, but I'd imagine that there's a great number of "casual" elites out there that have earned thousands of EQM's that they'll never see.
