Turned out one bartender has a foreign currency collection, so my next trip when she's working (Tuesday night) I'm giving her a bunch of coins from all over the place.
I've never exchanged any money in Korea. Itewon took my US$ and some of the shops even took a personal check. ^

How about this little nugget from the NFL: If Seattle wins they host a playoff game, if they lose they pick 8th in draft.

I've found it's easier just having the local currency and my bank only charges a 1.25% service charge for currency exchange when I use an ATM. With manythings in Seoul, like the KAL airport limo, I figure its easier just carrying Won. Granted with in 3 treks to SEL, I still have yet to spend the 100,000 Won I took out in November.

I'll see if I get a lateral transfer into a support position or I still get to travel this year. If the latter holds true, I'll get to use the won.
