I also had them today: IAH - EWR - They were pitched as "Angus beef mini hamburgers". No cheese, some onions. Soggy buns, chewey beef. Not impressed. I had them soley because of this thread.
Did someone say in an earlier post that they where test marketing these? If so, the marketeers should look here. Bring back the old cheese burger.

I'm throwing in the horrible cheeseburger thread, just for reference.

avoided them due to this thread
Saw them for the first time on IAH-YYC today. The FA said they were testing them, and I mentioned to the FA that they were not getting good reviews. Person next to me got them, and they did not look too good.
Small, no cheese, some onions. He put a ton of mustard and ketchup, so that may say something about their taste.
I did not love the nuclear melted cheeseburger with cheese welded to the plate, but I would take that over the sliders all day.

After watching my seat neighbor dunk his greasy rueben sandwich into his oil-topped chicken tortilla soup 'au jus' on a recent flight, I vowed never to be caught mixing soup and entree, especially since I felt chest pains just watching him do it.
Eating an entire Costco pepperoni pizza was probably healthier.

Try dunking your old cinnamon roll in a bowl of split pea soup. That'll put hair on your chest, my friend!!!

Experienced sliders SNA-IAH and DCA-IAH this week. Horrible. What are they thinking? Onions? On a 3 hour flight with no mints? Bottom bun fell apart in soggy greasy mess. Even dipping in the cheese soup didn't work. On DCA-IAH I counted 28 sliders being served and 19 returning to the galley, so I'm thinking it's not only me who couldn't even risk trying the 2nd one.
