Correct they had lime but doesn't mean they were pre catered properly and she went above the call, in the end you got what you wanted, so it ended well.
Next week I am flying CoEx, whom I am not sure has lime, but I just made a vow to myself and now FT. I am going to have lime in EVERY drink next week, be it water, soda, juice or something more.
I am taking a bottle of Truelime with me onboard just to be sure.

It means it was there and catered.
In addition, they, purser and FA D both said they did have lime and they didn't know why he, FA C, said "we don't have lime"
Once again, it's not about lime. It's about the attitude and truth or lying.
Next time, if a FA doesn't want to serve or feel tired, he can just lie to customer "we don't have ooxx..."

As I said, the purser did offer the beverage with lime for pre-departure.
It means it was there and catered.

Your screed, sir, is one of the most reprehensible rebukes I have read in all my years defending truth, justice and the Flyertalk way!
Dear OP: Please do not think one xenophobe's jingoistic remarks are representative of the sensibilities of all nor even most of the people here. We in the CO forum are open-minded and reasonable folks. We realize others' opinions are as valid as ours. Feel free to speak your mind without fear of being ostracized (nor made to feel you're a malcontent) by anyone! Please participate in the CO forum. ^ We need more viewpoints, not less (as a few seem to want).
RNE, saying, "You owe the OP (and everyone in this forum) an apology."

Between the OP's nitpicking of every minute detail of his airline meal, including going into the galley to find out the number of Plats in F (good grief
), and some of the uncalled for, mean-spirited responses in this thread, I find myself not feeling much love for OP.
Sorry, but I see the world as bigger than how that slice of lime seemingly appeared out of the blue for you. And if that piece of veal was mystery meat to you, why did you put it in your mouth first and then demand to know what it was?
Sometimes you have to learn to just move on from mistakes and misunderstandings.

Is it ever so slightly possible that there may have been a miscommunication in the translation of lime vs. lemon?

Here's the deal - you've been trained by the UA forum to be nit-picky and reactionary toward the airlines and their employees. We generally don't act that way over here on the CO forum. We complain when it's neccessary, but we certainly aren't seeking compensation, never threatening/antagonistic/aggressive toward FAs or anyone from the company in any manner, and most assuredly doing our best not to make ourselves out to look like malcontents.
If you want to enjoy your time in our sandbox, you gotta learn to adapt. We don't just let CO take advantage of us but we don't make mountains out of molehills either.
