CO EUA while on a UA flight?
I am looking at booking a trip on UA with some of the segments on CO metal... if I use my CO OP# when booking on UA.com, will I be eligible for CO EUA for the segments which are on CO metal? If not EUA upgrades, would I be able to get battlefield upgrades?
thanks.
thanks.

I assume you wish to receive mileage credit on UA while receiving elite status benefits on CO. If so, this thread may be helpful.

That's not how I read the OP's question. I think the OP wants to book a UA-coded ticket with mixed-metal flights (some UA, some CO).
I believe that qualifies for EUA on the CO segments so long as your CO number is in there.

UA is notoriously bad at getting FF#s into other airlines records. Having your OP# in the record that United created in their system for the CO flights doesn't mean CO has it in their record, and that's the one that counts.
Call CO or add it on continental.com after UA tickets it.

UA is notoriously bad at taking partner FF numbers into records too. It took me 39 days to see credit from the UA domestic F flights surrounding the StarMegaDo. LH ticket, two UA segments, two LH segments. Now, of course, those could have been reward seats since I won the trip, and I'm grateful to have those miles. But the overriding point is that when I called UA and gave them my CO number the night before the trip, they said no problem. The agents at the F counter in PHL said no problem. Either the phone agent fat-fingered my number or was blowing sunshine up my
