May 21st - HAM dinner/drinks
I'm actual working in HAM. So it would be nice, to meet some FTs around HAM or from the rest of the world at HAM. I am not sure what location would be easy-ish to get to, but I'm game to make my way to someplace there or in the city. Let me know if you're interested!

^ Yes, I am in!
Another suitable location I would like to recommend is "Indochine - Bar Savanh" (www.indochine.de). There is a happy hour from 8-10pm every day for cocktails, which are very good in my view (6 for every cocktail). The view is also quite nice overlooking the river Elbe and part of the port. On the other hand, they do not serve huge dinners within the bar but rather some light meals.

Im sorry - as this will me my first evening in Hamburg after some pretty hectic days, Im already busy. But if any of you will still be in Hamburg the next week (from sunday 24th onwards) Ill be happy to join you.
Some recommendations for a decent place with very good drinks:
indochine (as mentioned by jpberendes)
St. George (http://www.thegeorge-hotel.de) new hotel near central station with absolutely excellent staff and an unmatched selection of whisk(e)y, wodka and so on. Before some of you ask: yes they have more than the Frankfurt FCT
Cocktrail (http://www.cocktrail.com/) in the subway-station of Mundsburg. One of the best barkeepers in Hamburg.
Christiansens (http://www.christiansens.de/) Nearly as good as the St. George but with more tradition an nearby Reeperbahn.
Have fun and I hope for the next week (when work finally will slow down a little).
Michael

I just got PM'ed about this. I am not 100% in as I have to attend a wedding the next day outside Hamburg.
Two places to recommend are Au Quai (kinda snobby but good food plus they have a 'lounge') and Le Lion (cocktail bar, highly recommended although I've never been there). Au Quai is close to Indochine.
AuQuai: http://www.flow4.com/client_transfer/test/AuQuai/
LeLion: http://www.lelion.net/
Depending on if/how I make it I might be able to pick up people on the way ... if I take my car.
