Important information

Thank you all for your interest and support!

I have gotten quite a few PMs and e-mails about updating the participants list in post #2.

No worries! If you have posted in this or the original thread AND sent me the information required in post #3, your spot is secured

I have just been overwhelmed with the response, so I haven't gotten around to it yet. Have some actual work to do this morning and I will update the preliminary participants list later today.

PS! If you signed up in the original thread in the SAS Forum, you still have to send me the information required in post #3. We need this info in order to price out everyone's itinerary on the scheduled flights connecting to and from Frankfurt.

Also, many of you have written me about who will get priority if the charter flights gets full.

It's starting to get really close to being a full event, so I guess we have to start prioritizing and put up wait lists. (Never thought that would happen).

Remember, the sign up now is with no obligation because the program is only preliminary and we don't have any prices yet.

But the event will be on a first come first served basis and if the event gets full and when the program and prices are confirmed, I will start to reconfirm with everyone and the ones who posted AND e-mailed me first will be the ones who gets the spots first.

Some rules, though:

You can add more than one guest, but if the event gets full, we have to give Flyertalk members priority. So if the event actually gets full, you can only bring one guest.

The day we have a program set in stone and prices (and fare rules for scheduled flights), you have to decide where you will connect from/to, what class and dates.

If you have any questions and don't want to post them here, feel free to shoot me an e-mail at [email protected]. the [email protected] is for putting yourself on the list. Please don't send PMs, it's really hard to keep track of things

Thank you for understanding!!

He he.. No, there are not between 20-30 jump seats on any plane. We will have middle seats in the back and get off our rears right after take off.

Excuse me, sir...I need to get to work right away.

Sorry, lady, I did not mean to put my muddy footprint on your dress, but I am getting ready to serve you your drinks and I need to leave this seat immediately.

I did not step on your shoes, sir, but I did break my nose when I tripped over them...

I pity the unlucky FTers who get stuck on either side of me

I never thought I'd be happy to have a middle seat in the back of a plane.

So will we be contacted individually about the price of scheduled flights within Europe? Will you announce when this information is sent out so I can start panicking if I'm not contacted?

And here I thought tommy777 was implying a classy premium service.

Do we get to dish it back to the FA's, you know act like the passengers on the TV show Airline?

I am slightly unclear about the EWR-FRA flight on 11/3. This is a commercial flight, correct? No partying in the aisles, as it would be inconsiderate to the non-Flyertalkers on board?

Also......As someone who would have to book a one-way ticket to EWR on CO, I am concerned about the SSSS gremlins. Will CO be able to identify the Do attendees so that we do not get SSSS'd on our way to EWR? Not to add any work to anybody's plate or anything, but it would be really great if we could get pre-cleared as not being security threats!

I think we will be so many and hopefully the F and front C mini cabin will be occupied by Flyertalkers only

I take one ways all the time within the US and have been SSSS'ed twice the last 3 years. I don't think CO controls who gets SSSS'ed though.

SSSS is not a major inconvenience. Both times, I have been escorted to the front of the line and actually gotten done quicker than if I was in line. (SAT and ORD are the airports I was SSSS'ed)
