I'm in! Email sent.

Do we have an idea of what the diff will be if we decide to return to a different city? A new FM line is always nice.

Can't answer the question about US flights but I doubt there would be so many takers of European chartered flights at 600 USD per segment!

I'm interested, have sent an email.

As a PS.... I was already planning on being in Berlin on the 6th Nov as, I don't know if anyone else is aware, but the Berlin wall came down 20 years ago on the 9 November 1989. Saw it noted in the Sunday Times here in the UK as one of 20 places 'you have to see in 2009' and thought why not.

As such I'm already planning a stay in Berlin 6th-10th Nov that I'll probably try and combine with this in some manner as long as the dates/times/prices work out ok

I'd be interested in joining you on the 5th for FRA-OSL-ARN-TLS-FRA and perhaps on the 6th as well if I can make it work.

Thread now subscribed.

Hotel

No discussion here yet on hotel. But it would appear that the Sheraton at Frankfort airport would be a good choice for convenience from Nov 4-7(although a little on the high side).

Although I am generally a Marriott person - no Marriott's at the airport. So I have currently booked a room at the Sheraton for 3 nights and then plan to go downtown Frankfort for Saturday night.

1) The pricing range for the LH flight LH403 plus the return to a LH gateway of our choice sounds very low (1100-1500$ all in), does this really include a return to the Westcoast in C as well ? Earning Miles was mentioned earlier on the previous page by Tommy.

2) Are the 600$ for european charter flights per segment or for all flights taken (subject to tax per segment) ?

Best,

Hi,

1) You are mixing up the two flights, please see #3 again:

Ballpark prices (round trip with taxes and fees):
LH scheduled flights to and from the US:
Y: 600 USD
C: 1500-2000 USD
F: ??

Charter flights:
Y: 600 USD (more taxes if you start in FRA)
C: 1100-1500
PS! The more of the 4 chartered flights you take, the more landing fees and taxes you will be charged.

Just to explain further: The price of the charter flights will be fixed regardless of where you start. What will be added are taxes/landing fees, so more landing fees and taxes the more flights you have.

2) The prices for charter is a total price, not pr. segment
