Most of us Canucks are hoping to attend a Mini AC event on the morning of Nov 3rd and flying to EWR on our own to attend the CO event after that. However most of us are still waiting on finalizing the rest of the DO before booking our flights to EWR.

I am considering coming up to EWR the night before - so if there is an interest - we could have a pre-departure party the night before - say at the EWR President's Club. There are likely enough PC members that can get gate passes for themselves plus 2 more. If this seems of interest I will start a new thread on the subject.
^ ^ For the pre-departure party! I will be interested. Having said that, I did not renew my PC membership this year (economy, lesser travels), so will have to depend on the genorisity of a member to get me a guest pass

Any Canadians considering using the LH special fare between Canada and FRA should note that W class will only earn 50% mileage in Aeroplan, while the US fare in V (or Z) earns 100%. It may be better to consider an award or even revenue ticket to the NYC gateway on the outbound. I assume the return (which can go to any LH destination in NAmerica) would be ticketed in the US fare class even if the return was to one of LH's Canadian gateways.
