I have to admit that today's mission (so far) has been only a partial success!

I found the Bus Station (quite a nice place) and managed to get my ticket for tomorrow's 13:00 to Andorra - without, I might add, speaking a single word of English.:p But then, when I decided to have a sneak preview of Bestiari, I failed!:(

Where I expected it to be was a place called "Lounge-Club Ego" - was I near where I should have been? Still, I wandered around the area for a while and thoroughly enjoyed the general ambience of the zone.:confused:

So, I guess I'll be lurking in the lobby of Le Meridien later on this evening, looking for a likely crowd of Boo-Dooers - I'll be the one in the mauve shirt, with three heads. :D

Well, the party plane crew is starting to gather. Sitting in the business class side of the BA lounge with jfkeze, the_happiness_store, and danceswithsunlight. Taking flight, where are you guys?!?!


edit: jfkeze is CUT OFF!!!!! And if anyone is in earshot, he's made it veeeeery clear he's into vajayjays. The enitre lounge knows!

Edit #: jfkexe was IDB due to disorderly conduct! He disappeared in the plane and was not sitting in his assigned seat. When the crew found him they escorted him off!! Drama!

Lessons for today:

Always write down addresses for the taxi and don't count on the hotel guy to tell them the right place. No idea where the tried to take us.

Also... It's a good idea to know -where- on the rambla your hotel is before you decide to walk home from dinner at 130am. But it still took me less time to walk than the first cab ride to nowhere.

And ZOMG ....that foie ... Still so freaking good!

ambien, ear plugs and a 7 am wake up call got me out of bed, but I wish I had stayed in bed.

The party plane just landed in Madrid, down one man!

The truth is jfkeze was not disorderly, but a little too happy. As far as we can tell only airline personnel were involved.

jfkeze, we´re thinking of you. Hopefully you´ll make it on today´s flight. And no more JW Black for you!

IMPORTANT EVERYONE: WELCOME TO EUROPE! The bus drivers are on strike. ALSA busses from Estacio del Nord are NOT running today. The Nadal and Julia busses from Sants and the airport are running (though expect to cross a picket line).

If you need alternate transportation, you have some options:

1. Get on the Julia/Nadal busses at Sants or the aiport. The 13:45 still has available seats as of right now. If you have a ticket for these they will be honored.
2. Get a rental car. It is not possible do to a one-way rental between Spain and Andorra so you'll have to bring it back. Best bet is http://www.pepecar.com if you're in Barcelona or any of the companies at the airport. Pepecar is currently showing 7-passenger vans for 41€/day all-in at their Sants location.

DFB is on his way to the bus company right now to look for a better solution. I will post to the thread as we have updated information. Keep checking back.
