The brief I'm filing tomorrow is going to require a bit more work than I anticipated. I also have a few loose ends that need to be tied up. As a result, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it tonight. Hope everyone has a great time.

Nice to see some new FT'ers (and family) at dinner tonight (and you, too F-nan), but now that it's over time to think about JSWONG's upcoming visit to the DC area.
The official dinner is Monday the 23rd, but Jeff is around for a few days or so before that if you want to arrange something with him directly.
Monday, March 23rd
Murphy's of DC
This Irish pub and restaurant serves a fantastic menu of authentic Irish and continental dishes before a cozy wood burning fireplace and offers Irish music nightly.
2609 24th St NW
Washington, DC
202-462-7171
Metro: Woodley Park/Zoo
7:00 pm (but if you can make it earlier, meet up for a drink!)
This is near Jeff's hotel and fairly convenient to metro. It's hoped that parking isn't too bad in the area, for those driving in like me!
Attendees:
jswong
GoingAway
gvdIAD
flug...nan (?? since you helped pick venue, I was assuming yes?)
DHAST
jenniparks
runnersmate
mot29
thezipper+1
Believe it when I see it
tazi
dlNewbie
NOTE - I just learned this place does NOT take reservations. We may end up at multiple tables. If someone is planning/able to get there earlier, please let me know and they can put a request in for the table(s) we'll need to seat everyone.

Thanks for setting that up and allowing it to be kid-friendly last minute. I love Indian entrees, but not so much Indian desserts. Those cookies made it the perfect dinner. I hope you can make it to ORD in May.

Please add mot 29 for March 23 -- thanks.
I'm pretty sure that parking on Conn Ave opens at 630 pm.
