Darn, the cue bus stops running at 4:30 on Sunday, so if I need a ride, I will let you know.

Im free Sunday evening but I am in Baltimore and Fairfax is just too much of a hike. Would need to be on the MD side for me... Is there a BWI-IAD flight?

No, but there are few people in the BWI/MD area. Maybe it's time to get them moving on setting something up on a weekend (sorry, but no way am I driving up there during the week!)

I'm a maybe. I leave for PEK on Tuesday, and don't know yet whether I'll need to work on Sunday.

Btw, I've updated the first post to add this event, as well as ozstamps visit in early April.

If people have restaurants/venues to suggest for the events with our two visitors from the Southern Hemisphere, please don't be shy. For jswong, something downtown or close-in and on the Metro; for ozstamps, something maybe in or near Reston or Herndon.

Like me! Fairfax is a hike for me, the HH's in Clarendon is the farthest I'll go on a work night due to my self imposed curfew & lack of self control. dmodemd- let me know if you ever want to plan something in the Baltimore/Annapolis/BWI area, we're game.

The film starts at 4:30 on Sunday and that weekend there is Metro track work from W Falls Church to Vienna (delays of 30 minutes). So, I'm not coming this time.

Rockville or Bethesda could be a happy midpoint. Maybe next time I can set something up in that area...

Rockville's a bit easier for access but UNHBuzzard may think it's too far. Weekends are definitely better to bring folks from NoVA up into MD when they otherwise don't need to make that trip

It's obviously early to commit, but I wanted to give everyone as much notice as possible.

If you're interested, and/or have restaurant suggestions, please reply to the thread. I hope to see many of you there.

I'll do Bethesda/Rockville on a weekend, but can't submit myself to that type of masochism on a weekday... I avoid the Beltway at all costs during weekdays, although Clarendon is usually fairly painless on a weekday for some reason.
