Are you looking for a lunch or dinner Do?

Lunch is a better possibility for me. If you are around DCA, I can get you into the WorldClub there.

Wednesday, June 18. Happy hour/dinner. Flight arrives late afternoon. Work takes up all day on Thursday, but Thursday evening may be open. Looks like right now Wednesday may be best.

I might be available for dinner Wednesday. Maybe you'd get more bites if you
were to post here?

I would be available for dinner Wednesday, if anyone takes
the initiative in the next eight hours or so to arrange something.

There's a good BBQ place in China Town, very close to the Verizon Center.

Just don't park your bike there.

Guess I missed the eight hour cutoff...
I only get to the DC area about once a year or less. I'm afraid I would be the last person to be arranging anything there. I am staying in the Crystal/Pentagon City area and if someone suggests a place that is accessible by Metro I can probably get there. I guess there is always the Hamlet in the underground?

I can do tomorrow, June 18th, 6:30 pm or later.

I've not been impressed by the Hamlet recently; I much prefer King Steet Blues, which is in the same Mall and is slightly closer to the Crystal City Metro Station (and accessible from the Metro stop without going outside). King Street Blues has vaguely southern cuisine, modestly priced. Often, they have a rib special, though I don't know about Wednesday night.

There are lots of restaurants in and around Crystal and Pentagon Cities. Is there a particular type of cuisine you'd prefer? I can make suggestions, but I'm really pressed for time. Maybe you could call your hotel concierge and ask for suggestions.

Sorry, already posted this in the other thread. This will work for a starting point. It is not far from the Hamlet to King Street Blues and you can get to both from the Metro without going outside.

Thanks GoingAway for the suggestion.
I will be at the Hamburger Hamlet bar in the Crystal City underground (accessible by Metro) at 6:30pm Wednesday evening, June 18. http://hamletrestaurants.com/index.php?q=happyhour.html
I hope to meet some flyertalk folks there.
