I've driven through Woostah. It's not exactly "the big city." ;) And you certainly travel enough to destinations that aren't "the big city." It's a skill that's not hard to learn and is immensely useful. I know tons of people who live in Manhattan who don't own cars--but they all know how to drive. It frees you up from being at the mercy of often less-than-adequate public transportation or expensive taxis in many destinations.

I guess Worcester is the best place to learn. Everyone is such a crappy driver, no one would notice if i took a spin without a license.

Come on CDKing, if my Mom who was born and raised in Queens and didn't move to the suburbs (of New York City, a real city I might add) can learn to drive what's your excuse? :p

You must have gotten the "Former Employee" rate. MD was charged $30 plus plus for an overnight Corolla rental last weekend. It was last minute but still.......ended up closer to $60

Nice weather you all are having here today. Guess I picked the wrong weekend again. I did love the roller coaster landing though. I forgot how late the sun rises, not that it matters on a cloudy and rainy day

Yes...do you make the same facial expressions during airline turbulence as you do on Hersheypark's Wildcat? ;)

Lots of turbulence leaving and and arriving in SEA. Ran into the same flight attendants on a few flights. All on one flight and then individually on different flights and in different terminals. It was wierd since i never run into the same crews on UA.
Bear Tooth Theatre pub was a nice place to go to escape the cold rain. Got admission, beer and popcorn for less than it costs just to get into the theatre here in MA. Sadly i wasnt awake enough to go see Disneys Planes but Despicable Me 2 was good, gotta love minions. I also bough myself a nice warm winter coat and gloves. Only $260 for both and the coat is based on the design of the Canada Goose coats but with duck down instead of goose down. |
