I have booked flights on DJ, yes I know don't ask, arriving Friday 10:45am and departing Sunday 7:00pm.
Have we decided on a hotel central? I think I will stay at one of the Best Westerns, probably at Battery Point, to earn QFF points but not sure how far this will be from the scheduled activities.

As posted earlier, most favored hotel by a long margin from posts here was The Old Woolstore.
Short walking distance to everything we'll be doing.
I have a feeling they give QF miles.

Well its being GORGEOUS down here the last 2 days. Warm (30C!!!) and still. Very Spanish in feel - except for the 30 minute wind storm at lunchtime which blew in a MASSIVE smoke haze from a forest fire down Maydena way.
