My flights have finally been booked, although the fare was a bit painful
I arrive on AA6564 on Friday at 12:35 and depart on AA6565 on Monday at 09:05.
Will there be others about on Friday evening???

It was a quite terrifying episode. Just goes to show the lengths to which you have to go to get a pint rather than suffer the £10 hotel lobby cocktail

Update starts off with an apology for not moving Saturday nights dinner arrangement much further forward. I have been a little preoccupied trying to clear my in-tray before I scoot off on holiday tomorrow (giddy-up OLCI!). I can confirm though that V&C is ours if we wish.
The general deal is - we have exclusive use of the V&C Caffe Bar for the entire evening. Outline rate for a three course dinner is approx 40 per head excluding wine. Will try and negotiate this down if I can. The wine list is vast and impressive. We are also being providing with exclusive access to their store with 10% discount on purchases - very convenient for stocking up for the picnic the following day.
Blue Bar Cafe option is still available as a fall back. Whilst the V&C surpasses BBC in terms of menu quality and selection, it will be less expensive.
My recommendation is for Valvona and Crolla but I shall leave this open for discussion (is this wise, I dunno?
) for the next ten days. Intention is to set up a prepayment facility to cover the meal and settle the balance (wine/ales/liqueurs etc) at the end of the evening. So, it will be of enormous help to me if each attendee can confirm before the end of March that they wish to opt-in for dinner.
Thanks,
