I'll do what ever I can - but realistically, no matter where we end up it's going to be difficult avoiding predatory alpha females. And, AJ, don't for one moment think you'll be immune.

Take it as read though that Harry's Bar and Finger's Piano bar are off the short list

As a do organiser, I think Prospero has a duty to protect the attendees by ensuring they don'tend up in either Espionage, CC Blooms or Havana - particularly after the infamous windmill dancing incident... and the infamous descending tour incident.. and the infamous sticky table incident...
Especially since he had spent the last 20 minutes fretting about "what if somebody I know sees me there?"

See if I protect you from the next predatory [insert scary creature here] that comes your way....
btw, how can you possibly imply there are predatory FT chicas??
oh, and double btw. Your pictures did not show the end of the Sitges evening, where some of us managed to score a meeting with A the Great. ^
Oh right, you had already retired, and missed this singular sensation.

So I contend, your insulting comments are nothing but sour grapes. hah!

Promises promises...
Hah you do have a selective memory!
It was a clear-cut case of mutual protection! Or else there would have been a rather interesting stage-video of you too.
Wasn't me that did that!
I know, I have the pics even though I'm not in them!
Some of us needed out beauty naps, after having stayed up till 5am the night before!

In response to the challenge some have experienced finding accommodation at affordable rates, we have managed to secure preferential rates at the Clarendon Hotel during the weekend of our gathering.
Thanks to the generosity of The Clarendon, the special rates are 45 per person for a single room or 35 per person for a shared twin. Breakfast is included in the rate. If you are interested, please get in touch with the hotel directly on +44 (0)131 229 1467 or by email [email protected]. Ask for Michelle and don't forget to mention FlyerTalk. Please note that there are a limited number of rooms available at these rates so its very much as case of book as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
The Clarendon Hotel, formally The Maitland is located at 25 Shandwick Place, just a couple of doors down from the Caledonian Hilton right in the heart of the City Centre. Very conveniently located for both the airport and also for Cramond. The Airlink 100 bus stops right outside its door; and it's two minutes from the bus 41 stop on Queensferry Street for Cramond.
Very special thanks to subhi for pulling some strings and making this happen for us.
