I'm a 20% chance to be in Sydney that week and if I am I'll be there!

OzStamps, I expect you to go all out to arrange a particularly good reception for BEYFlyer.

However, if he gives you a package to deliver to me in FLL, do not mention that to the Security people.

I trust him completely, but I can imagine the reaction if you tell them, "Well, this man from Lebanon -- who I never met before -- came to Australia to ask me to carry a package to an Israeli. Should I keep it in my hand luggage or with my checked things?"

Dov - the chances of me me transporting sealed packages across USA borders for 3rd parties are presently rated between ZERO and ZERO minus. @:-)

To explain to some nice US customs man in LAX: "this Guy from Beirut gave me this sealed box for this guy in Israel, and trust me it will all be fine and dandy to take on this large shiny US legacy carrier plane" is not going to happen any century soon.

And if it were in reverse it is STILL not gonna happen. ;0

BEYFlyer, I am more worried about packages that you get from Oz than those you give him.

As I mentioned in another thread today, the last time I met him he gave me a pouch made from a kangeroo's scotum!

Well this is a poor reception from you SYD people, it's almost summer so cast off those winter blues and get out and about meeting people and enjoying. Do I have to get mother involved?

kangeroo's scotum money purse

Is that in any way connected with a Kangaroo scrotum?

Well you did look rather more interested in THIS exotic gift, smuggled in at no expense (and I mean that ) from Azerbaijan last November.

No Dovster and I are actually pretty easy to pick apart.

As per the photo above, he has no hair. And looks at least 3 times my age - due to his self-confessed dabauched lifestyle.

And unlike me, he does not wear long dresses in public.

I don't know what a kangeroo's scotum or scrotum is attached to, and I don't think I want to know.

I have never confessed to having a dabauched lifestyle -- only a debauched one.

BEYFlyer, I have a confession to make. I am responsible for slandering Arabs in the most vile way possible.

When OzStamps was in Israel, I bought him a keffiyeh to wear in the hopes that people throughout the world would believe him to be an Arab.

I realize now that this was an unforgiveable insult to Arabs everywhere.

And the TSA did not appreciate it either, when I wore it thru LAX on the way home.

Oh, come on Dov, it looks good on him!!! I wouldn't; however, go through LAX with that thing on . You might get approached by a lot of "brothers and sisters" ...

Not to mention to occassional TSA "random" body search.
