Did you do that as FB Platinum or just as an ordinary citizen?

I just played so that I could legitimately take interest in this thread. It's still too early to commit as this might be an auction weekend for me. But I have now taken interest in this thread. This, it turns out, is quite easy. It is, after all, a very interesting thread. Isn't it?

T&L suggests a driving tour of Slovenia

f4free, I hope you come.

For those who want to turn this into a longer holiday, Travel and Leisue suggested a 5 day driving tour in its September 2005 issue. A photo/map free version is online. (I have the print version.)

CDG-LJU is flown by Rgional, an AF jungle-jet subsidiary, not by AF. It doesn't surprise me that an FB member can find award availability with Rgional. However, Rgional appears not be be generally available for Skyteam members to earn & burn miles on -- the NW Plat/Gold elite rep. checked for me twice; she also confirmed for me that a couple other well-known jungle-jet companies are on that list (I was testing her, too ... ).

Believe me, I am not disappointed to have one company full of darned jungle jets unavailable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My question now is, what kind of puddle jumper is the AT4 that's flying us between Prague & eLJU?

Until recently (that is five or so years ago), CO used them EWR-IAD. They are not as uncomfortable as a CRJ (nothing is) but are very buzzy and noisy, the odors of fuel and other lubricants are pervasive, they are hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and the overheads are minuscule. Despite the holes for the tray table being in the bulkhead and attaching them securely being a project, the best seats are in the exit row 1 altho I once recall being banished all the way to the back and not being very uncomfortable. If that's what I end up getting, I will not be very upset.

I don't have OMNI access yet, so I can't post in the WWBTNFTMTP thread, but LJU sounds great, especially since there are very attractive fares on JP from ZRH that weekend.

Count me as a strong maybe for now, please.

So many DO's, so little time...

Oh, BTW, could you confirm the dates?

Is it 27-29 October (Friday-Sunday) or 28-30 (Saturday-Monday)?

Sounds like an ATR 40-something. Smallish and board from the back.
