I got mine two days ago. Pretty fast delivery. Got the free jet lag stuff and the Avis coupons.
I purchased three luggage tags. Two for checked luggage, and one for my carry-on laptop case. I figure, even though it is nerd-like to do so, that putting it on the laptop case will serve as a better beacon
Flying to MCO this weekend. We'll see how well they work.

Have had mine "spotted" by fellow FTers twice:
Once while checking into the Hilton in SJC. (Sorry, can't remember the FTer's handle.)
Last Sunday at the CO PClub at ORD. Mill Creek Don saw my bag in the closet and politely asked the entire room who owned the red duffel bag with the bright yellow tag.

After reading this thread ordered myself 4 lugagge tags. I have a black bag and after my recent USA trip watching bags go round the lugagge belt I knew I need something to distinguish my bag from others as it seems every second person has a black bag.
Meet another flyertalker will be a bonus but if I can find my bag that much easier well that will be much better.

They might work...as long as the TSA does not cut them off your bag and stuff them inside it like they did on my recent flight to OKC.
Now I have to either buy new ones or get something to loop through them because the loop itself is now two inches long. Can't figure out why they thought that was necessary.

I am (for now) tagless, but I spotted the tag on VPescado's bag during preboard to UA 277 MCO-LAX last night.
I swapped seats so we could chat. Fun flight -- great FAs in F, pre-flight drinks (which led to our study of how many verses of "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" you can sing during the UA 757 safety video...), warm nuts, etc.
And, a first for me: an FA who remembered me from a prior flight (and enjoyed the memory...).
