However, I'm still hoping to be able to make it and I've initiated an investigation into award availability (unfortunately involving a long-haul TG segment, albeit new style business).

As this will be a last minute decision based on how the thesis progresses I would be very grateful if one of you could tell me when the latest date to confirm/bail out would be. I would arrive firday afternoon/leave sunday and would like to participate in all the dinners and stuff.

Hoping to make it!

Hey, guttorm, congrats on (nearly) completing your thesis, and your new flat. Hope you can make it, and everyone will definitely help you celebrate! I think you deserve a short tropical break after all that effort, don't you? :)

I am so old fashioned kind of person. So abbreviation is unknown to me. ;) And yes, I have been cleared without any bottle consumption since that last memorable Charlotte Hotels. ;) ;)

Note: First post says dp. KiwiFlyer posted jk. So I thought next one would be something like cv, ph, h, etc etc...

No worry. We are just kidding. It will be too troublesome to bring along the Fauchon. :D

i had two plans.

first buy some for the japanese market limited editions of this icecream. i checked the hp and it looked great.

or rob the SQ stock of the ice , this would be the easier method :D

i think most of you will fly in on SQ so you will get it anyway? correct?

I know of at least 3 BaliDoers who will be connecting on SQ via NRT, so they will have access to Fauchon at the SKL. :)

As cawhite posted, perhaps only 3 will have a chance to visit the Fauchon freezer at SKL-NRT. No Fauchon serves on board SQ, AFIK. The DOers are from everywhere in the world. So, most probably they would not fly through NRT this time. I don't think the famous London FTer would take a longer route to DPS via NRT. ;) ;) same for the North American based. I think from the SQ forum, it seems I am the only one who always screaming take SQ11 please... which is going through NRT. Even when I fly UA, I would prefer to have a connection in NRT instead of HKG. :D

Consider yourself to have a partner-in-crime... :p I"d much rather connect through NRT, whether on SQ or UA. Then again, when on UA, perhaps it's because my favorite crews fly that route... ;) :)

BTW, mafbar won't be able to make it to Bali Do. After LAX, he has to go to ICN that weekend.
Anyone else that we can think of arm-twisting them very very hard? ;)
