jjpb3, really, I have not done much at all. Especially my arm-twisting effort doesn't show a good result. :( I certainly can't be a good helper for the official arm-twister! ;) :D :D

CGK, you have done so much for this trip...I can't begin to thank you enough! Except apparently you changed your seat assignment on the party flight! :o

I hope you won't miss the flight this Monday. Looking forward to being with you and SQPB aka SQSM on SQ11. :D And yes, the slumberette's party as hotel SKL as well. ;)

Wish I could have made it over to DPS for this one, and I will be so close. Instead I will be sitting in SIN for the weekend. Too many issues with Indonesia and my passport. Thanks to a recent over zealous passport stamper I now have no free pages in my passport (and cannot get to an Embassy to get more pages in time). The guy managed to take out three pages with one stamp. And according to the Embassy you need at least one completely blank page for entry.

Oh well, if anyone is around in SIN from 26-30 May I will be running around SIN then. Also, we are flying back to the states on SQ 12 in F on the 30th.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to make it!!! SMS me if you're up for a late evening hawker run or drinks the night of the 28th in SIN :)

Thanks to those who have sent the deposits promptly to cawhite...
See you all next week! :)

(color emphasis above is mine) Nobody can say there weren't enough reminders!

StarG May 19, 2006 2:26 am

Thanks everyone!

We now have a guaranteed reservation for 24 pax at Mozaic.

Seating will be divided into 3 tables: 2 tables of 6-coursers and 1 table of 3-coursers.

The restaurant has been informed about the vegetarian requirement for 2 pax (diana & Kiwi Flyer), as well as halal requirement for 4 pax (CGK's friends)- all of which are seated at the same table (3-coursers).

The List is now updated to reflect the above.

Again, if any of you have any change of plans for KuDeTa dinner (27MAY), I would appreciate it if you can inform me or cawhite as early as possible so we can make the relevant adjustments to the reservation.

Just a few more days to go... :)

Sounds like you're all going to have a fabulous time. Shame Mr. Megatop and I won't be able to meet up with any (!) of you on this trip. Even jjpb3, who was supposed to stay over long enough to meet up for a drinky drink and dinner with us, now has to go back to London early. :( Nevertheless, with thanks to the promoters of Bali Do 2006, Mr. Megatop and I will be enjoying dinner at both Mozaic and Ku De Ta. We're booked in to both of 'em during the week of the 28th. I'm particularly looking forward to Mozaic for my birthday dinner. The menu online looks delightful, and I'm bringing a special bottle of vino Mr. Megatop and I picked up in Napa Valley last year.

Oh, and we're booked in for two and a half days with the reknowned driver Wayan Sueta, highly praised here on FT. So FT has added lots of good things to our plans, even if we can't make it to the Do.

Well not knowing when you are getting in to SIN I was able to get extra pages to my passport for free at the US embassy in less then 15 minutes.

p.s. 14H was for 142, not 147 - sorry for the confusion :D

Time is almost here....well in a bit over 4 hours before it's time to fly again :)

So glad I will finally be able to attend Bali DO. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to get the busy holiday weekend off!

Diamond Seats May 19, 2006 10:33 am

Have a great flight! Enjoy your trip! ;) ;)

kluau88 May 19, 2006 1:11 pm

At the SKL but should be moving very very soon after this post.

Someone thought it was a very wise idea to service 2 of the 4 check-in computers at the 1K line at SFO INTL. Very very smooth if you ask me when they have about 10 departures around the same time
