...to the Friday late-night munch.
Lucky I could still make it to the DO!
Long story.... My original outbound was today (11th) ATL-SFO leaving at 7:28p.m. arriving 9-ish and then SQ1 at 12:05a.m. (12th). Just minutes before going to the airport, I called Delta to check the departure time, guess what? MY FLIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELLED! They had put me on a later one, leaving at 9:30p.m., arriving at 11:30ish, WIHOUT NOTIFYING ME! There was no way I was going to make the connection, and the apologetic, understanding and CALM phone agent agreed. She then put me on hold, came back 20 minutes later, said she found ONE F seat on SQ11 leaving LAX - SIN tomorrow, arriving at 1:40a.m. on the 14th and asked if I would take it. Without missing a beat, I shrieked: YES, YES, YES, and almost in tears, thanked her profusely. (Mainly for listening to my hysteria.
)
Immediately after, I rang SQ, got seat assignment, and booked the chef, three times!
Sooooo...... in short
, belle is going to be late, but not never.
See y'all Saturday night!

The way it worked out, things could be much worse, and we'll look for you when we get back from the munch on Friday.

I'm sitting in the NRT RCC right now, waiting for the flight to HKG in a 2 and a half hours. If you stand by the beer machine and jump up and down, I'll come find you. Alternatively, look for a white guy using a laptop.

Checking in from the NRT RCC. See most of you on Friday, sometime.
Belle, glad to hear your flight snafu worked out. Call or text me after you get to SIN; I think you have the number but if you don:t, you know where to get it
And nice try by he who sent me the mock easy-update message bright and early Wednesday morning to let me know my transpac had been cancelled and my rebooked flight now had me sitting in seat 46E
