Mike, thanks for updating the site. You got me for Saturday dinner, thanks. I'll also be attending the Friday night munch and the Sunday afternoon food court run. My itinerary is on page 16 of this thread.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it in 2005 and am looking forward a repetition of the great time I had in 2004.

Looks like my plans are buttoned up.
Arriving 13 Jan on SQ 222 from SYD at 9:55pm, then departing to PEK on SQ 822 on 15 Jan at 4:50pm. I'll be staying at the Marriott.
Can't wait to join in the fun... I'm a definete yes for the Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch, but probably won't make it to the Friday night much (1am SIN is 4am SYD.....).
Thanks again for organising this, and glad to make it to my first SIN-do!

So it is now Monday morning here in Tokyo and I have seen all these posts through paffendorf's. I will do the update this morning Tokyo time.
Thank you for posting details, it helps with the planning enormously.
Anybody else with details to post?
See you all soon in SIN,
Mike

That way too high >$1300 USD RT ORD-SIN has made it an easier decision to say no to the trip.

Hi there,
I am a n00b poster on this forum but have been a member of the AFF forum for the past year. Thanks to Kiwi Flyer for letting me know about this thread.
I'm in the process of confirming dates for a trip to SIN and KUL, and it's possible that I might be in town for your weekend get-together.
One thing I noticed was that seafood seems to be a big part of the menu. Unfortunately I am allergic to shellfish (i.e. crustaceans).
I realise that this can be a real PITA for the person organising a group menu, so I was wondering if it will be easy enough to organise alternatives at the restaurant? I guess I could always just drink beer and not bother about eating.
