Great! Regarding this Saturday, how will you go to the airport? I will be at Grand Hyatt Erawan... Do you want to ride along? I don't remember exactly where you stay. PM me, please.

The whole day yesterday she was asking me how was your trip since she did not hear from you. I told her that no news means this VVIP, who promised her a visit to YVR, is enjoying his SpaceBeds so much that typing e-mail would be at the bottom of the list.

That's supposed to be a cone, not a tub

You heard wrong
As StarG and Movy can say, i was concerned due to the fact that due to some personal difficulties i had no time to search for a store LOL ... i'll search for, but BE ON TIME!

p.s.
Eventually i'll call SQ BTC to be sure they will provide you an authentic italian Ice cream on your next flight!
LOL

Can not search for a store? Hmm not good enough reason though, and blame me for "BE ON TIME"!!!
Here is a tip for an authentic italian icecream store:

TORINO PASTICCERIA ITALIAN BAR China Square

Would you please check that MovieMan or Jubilee777? So I can have a date with Paffendorf to make sure he is getting the ice cream himself, not from some courier arrangement...

I don't want to tempt fate by saying everything is fine, as I have a 45 minute connection today at Changi from SQ220 to SQ178 to SGN and with the gate closure clampdown if we're running late I've had it. The way this trip has gone anything could happen.

Met Ms. M today. And she was glad you were okay. And hope at Changi you got the buggy ride for the 45 minutes connection.

I prefer to defer to those locals more local than myself on the selection of the eating venue(s) for the hawker run. I guess it depends on what particular kind of food we are looking for, but if no one suggests another place, how about Lau Pa Sat?

Have a great trip, CGK! See you on Saturday.

Not sure if it's still around, but I recall just next to the Esplanade, there is a makeshift row of hawker, supposedly to replace Glutton Sq. It's right across from the RC, and the view is quite good. Food is limited though, but all my favourites seem to be there. May need to be there early to get decent seats. it's not sheltered, so hopefully the weather won't be as bad as here in Seattle this weekend.

Yes, I believe the "Gluttons Bay" is still there. Thanks for the reminder, ws8n ^ . Saw it when we met at Esplanade for the Aug 10th micro-mini SIN Do . Here's a website for it. Sounds like a good place, even though it's a relatively small selection. What think?
