Chicago May Golf Do

Rumors of a golf do have been amiss at some recent dos, lunches, etc and I thought that I'd take the initative to organize such an event.

I propose a Saturday in May, preferably May 7, 14 or 21 and we could hit the links by 9am and the 19th hole by 1pm.

Additionally, I propose a nice centrally located golf course in the not-too-distant Western Burbs without the overcrowding of White Pines...

Paging ENick, SWillie, ILP, indo79, cawhite, g_leyser, blort, iluv2carryFightingIllini'sgolfbag, grasshopper, foady and all other Chicago "golfers"

I can do the 7th. I can't do the 14th or 21st as I'm already ticketed to be out of town both weekends.

But 9am on a Saturday east of 355 might be a little difficult especially if there ends up being 6 or 8 of us. We're probably better off driving the extra 15 minutes and going someplace west of Route 59.

On the same vein, does anybody want to play University Ridge in Madison some Saturday in June or July?

Not really, but I'm sure we can have Omar do cartwheels in front of the hole while you're trying to putt.

We'll then plan to play without you and set up a second round in August/September. So far, we have indo available May 14 or 21, Nick available on the 7th and I'm free all three of those weekends.

You know, we could just play on the 7th and on the 21st... it's sort of like lunch, you don't have to do it just once/month. That way indo79 can play one weekend and I can play the other.

And now that Cheryl has cleaned up her computer screen, is she free to golf with us or is she off to another exotic destination??

The 7th is a definite "no" for me. The 14th & 21st are iffy. Only potential for an exotic destination is the weekend of the 28th and that's only if the award space opens up

I guess that's for the best, playing in a group with attractive women messes up my concentration.
