Eh, its ok, as long as you are outside, enjoying the weather and the game.

Max greens fee is roughly $60 with cart and I'll drive up to an hour. As for teeing off, I'd love to be on the course around 8 or 8:30. What about you?

We could go play Big Run or Blackhawk. Both have significant savings if we tee off after say 2pm (twilite rates).

Not Big Run. It's way way way long and often into the wind. One of my cousins is an ex-hockey player that hits his drive about 285 on average, and he says that Big Run is too long for even him. Plus it's probably more than an hour for you, as are most of the courses I normally play like Broken Arrow down in Lockport.

Where's Blackhawk at?

Village Links of Glen Ellyn might be a good choice. There are also some nice courses up near Mundelein, but you should save those for the 21st since others who live north sound like possible attendees.

My best was 92 from the tips at Cog Hill #2 with a horrible hangover but no mulligans or anything. My friends were good golfers that shot 77, 83 and 85 that day with me

I am interested for the 21st of May but I have played 5 rounds this year and I have a bad hook for some reason.

Blackhawk is in St. Charles.

If we play after 2pm on Saturday, the price drops from $65 to $25.

And your attendance DEFINITELY goes up by one!

I'd lean towards the twilight rates as well. I do play fast though my score is in the same range as ElmhurstNick, I think. But pulling out of here at 6AM on a Saturday, or earlier, and NOT for the reason of catching a flight, is on the unlikely side.

Nick, what do you think of this course on the 7th? I can put in a call to reserve a tee time for three.

Go for it. Hopefully the temperature will get back to at least 60 by then.

Did they stop requiring that engineering students pass a rhetoric class?

It's when you go to the course where they forgot to put up comfort stations...

Between 2 and 2:30. After that I'd start to get worried about being able to finish 18 in time.

How long does it usually take for you to play a round?
