October 8/9/10 - Springtime in Buenos Aires!!

At least one other FT'er and I have made plans to spend the (US) Columbus Day Weekend in EZE. Flights are not particularly cheap, but the weather should be fine, and both the Beef and Wine are likely to contribute to a great weekend!!

I'm hoping that a few others will have an interest in joining up in EZE, if not for a great steak dinner, then perhaps for drinks, etc. A group of us had a great time at Cabana Las Lillas last spring, and I'd be glad to help coordinate something like that again.....

Looking forward to seeing old/meeting new faces!! Best wishes, Dave

How funny Dave, that my friend and I were thinking of doing EZE again! However, we're looking at a Turkey run. That was a great evening and thanks. Unfortunately Oct will not work for me. EZE is a wonderful trip and the economy offers FTers a great array of dining, lodging, and shopping values.

Sorry we'll miss this time around, but March was a great deal of fun, and I hope you have just as much in Turkey.....IST??

Hola Dave,

I'm going to be in BA (Oct 8-17) so I'm up for a meeting during the weekend. Btw, I love Cabaa Las Lilas and lots of drinking ^

I'm pulling duty at the Park Tower next to the Sheraton and very near Plaza San Martin in case anyone is looking for hotel ideas......I'll go ahead and make tentative dinner resv for Friday, 10/8 at Cabana......anything else that we decide on can be done "day by day"....

Best wishes, Dave

Cool! Since I work at a school, my only shot at get-aways are 3 day weekends like that. Airfare is a little steep for me at this point, but will definitely keep an eye on the fares to see if they go down soon. Sounds like an absolutely fun weekend!
I was planning on just logging on Site59 about two weeks out from that weekend and seeing what they're offering. A lot of FT'ers caught some killer deals there this past summer.
