It's marked on my calendar, I'll just have to see. It would be nice to meet some of you, but if the sun is out, it will be calling my name...

We will also just miss. My husband and I will be in town for a Laura Ingalls Wilder pilgrimage with our 8 yr old granddaughter, arriving late the 7th, departing the 10th. If anyone is available the 8th or 9th, we would be interested.

travelnick, what better way to spend a sunny day than to be at Minnehaha Park, watching the light rail train!

Hope to see you, and others, on Saturday!!

There's a lot going on in the St. Paul area with the Taste of Minnesota, Grand Excursion and 4th of July events. Still, hope to see you on Saturday for lunch. I've driven past that restaurant many times and finally get to try it.

According to Paul Douglas, the authority on weather (after all, didn't he invent doppler?? ) The weather all weekend is going to be rainy and cool.

So we'll see both Nick and Cecelia, right???

This newly-minted Phoenecian will remember to bring a parka.

See you Saturday!

I was there Saturday but the restaurant was closed. The owners were there cleaning and let me stay in the parking lot for awhile. They were very watchful of who was parking in their lot (since they are next to a rail station) and had a warning taped on someone's car window.

Maybe some of you eventually met up as I left the lot at ~12:10 pm.

My Regrets

I had popped into work for a few hours that morning, then my boss wanted to chat and discuss some stuff. Viajero had my cellphone number and called me about the change in location...a surprise to all, but I was still unable to make it.

After another 12+ hour day, I am peaking at FT when I should be preparing my briefing cards for a press tour tomorrow. Back to work for me.

Sorry to all that did attend that I did not have the opportunity to meet, this time.
