I own a small travel business offering fashion-themed group tours to Europe and am looking for commission-based sales reps to spread the word about my product.

Since we began operating tours in 2001, hundreds of fashion-loving shoppers have traveled with us. Our passengers live to shop and love to travel. We offer public tours sold via our website and private, customized tours for groups of ten or more people. Please visit our website at www.shoparoundtours.com to familiarize yourself with our offerings.

I'm looking for creative, motivated and enthusiastic people - sales experience isn’t necessary. You can be based anywhere. This is not a full-time job with benefits, it's strictly part-time, commission based.

Please PM or email info(at)shoparoundtours.com if interested.

Luxury concierge agency is hiring a Mandarin-fluent outside sales rep/agent to market luxury/exclusive vacations and cruises to customers in Taiwan, Singapore, and Mainland China (and Hong Kong as well if any fluency with Cantonese). Initial focus on honeymoon trips (will be calling on high end wedding planner boutiques in these markets) and must understand and have experience with the luxury travel market - ie, Four Seasons Hotels/Resorts, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, etc.

I know this site is for people that love to fly, but hate paying for it... how awesome would it be to get paid to do what you love best??

JetBlue Airways will begin accepting applications for Inflight Crew Trainees TOMORROW, July 26th, at 9:00am ET. You can learn more about the position and apply online at www.jetblue.com/workhere.

JetBlue is one of the toughest airlines when it comes to getting a job as a flight attendant, but it is beyond worth it. This is your opportunity to join a growing company with an amazing culture.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like more details!

Join 'Australian Business Traveller' as an international correspondent

This could be THE dream job for the right FlyerTalk member!

Australian Business Traveller is the most popular site in the Asia-Pacific region for business travellers and frequent flyers – and now we're looking for an international correspondent (somebody outside the Australian timezone) to help us cover the global scene.

This position is suitable for somebody living in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the UK or the Americas – geography is no barrier – and we can offer salaried full-time or part-time employment (we're also willing to consider specialist contributors, depending on your skillset).

While a background in journalism is desired it's not essential – it’s more important that you have solid research and writing abilities (including the ability to write in an engaging style for a clearly-defined readership) and are highly knowledgeable on our core content, such as
  • airlines and their frequent flyer schemes
  • hotels and their loyalty schemes
  • airline seats, suites and lounges, as well as 'soft product'

In other words, it could be exactly what you already love talking about here on FlyerTalk – so it's an amazing opportunity for the right person.

If you're interested in bringing your skills onto a global stage, as a salaried member of one of the world's leading websites in its field, click through to complete this Expression of Interest form and we'll take things from there.

FYI, there probably aren't too many people on here looking to be an airline pilot. Most FTers leave the flying to the pros :D

If anyone is interested, however, JetBlue is hiring as well!

Looking for freelance travel writers

Hi FTers,

I am looking for native English freelance travel writers based in UK/HKG/NZ. Please pm me for more details.

Richard Chen Aug 27, 2015 10:55 am

I'm hiring, $450 for 10 hours of work ($45/hr) to deliver 1 wireframe and 1 graphical mockup for a 1-page website for a Greek diner in Astoria, Queens. Preferably able to make the client meeting tomorrow but remote is ok. Will sign contract before work starts, PM me if interested.

Didn't post on UpWork since I can do it myself but thought to help out a FlyerTalker who has better skills than I in this area.

I am between jobs and can provide bartending services for any upcoming parties or events you may be holding. I am licensed by a school in NYC and I have two years experience at a country club working the restaurant's main bar and also private functions for groups from 20 to almost 200 people, in addition to doing parties and events since then. I am available on very short notice (I live in NYC). Rates are subject to negotiation but I am very reasonable.

Please feel free to message me if I may serve you at your next event or DO!

I am (by choice) between jobs, and while I doubt this is the best place for it, it never hurts to poke various different networks to see what comes up.

I'm a senior software engineer; I've primarily worked in Java, and have primarily worked on traditional customer-hosted enterprise software.

I've got a lot of OS/systems experience as well, but none of it except at my most recent employer involved live production systems, and I didn't really take to that part of working there -- it was very much this is one of the reasons I left, and I'm inclined to avoid other big web companies (or at least their primary lines of business.)

I am based on the peninsula south of San Francisco; I am not open to relocation out of the Bay Area, or to "travel all the time" positions, but am open to positions that involve a moderate amount of travel.

If by some chance you're at a company looking for someone like me, please get in touch. Aside from private messaging here, my FT username is directly derived from my real name and is the same as my LinkedIn username.

Hi flyertalkers, my name is Jason. I know this is a long shot, it looks like this thread is not even very active anymore, but hey it does not hurt to try right ?

Look I will try to keep this brief. I'll come right out and say I lack formal job experience. I mean my resume is pretty much nothing. I was a stay at home dad for a long time. Sadly things in my life have changed and I am going to be divorced and un-attached to anything soon. Looking to completely start over. So for the right opportunity I would be willing to relocate basically anywhere.

I guess all I am looking for is a chance to prove myself, someone to take a chance on me and see what I can do. I have some education, I sadly never got my bachelors but I do have an associates degree in business management. Most of what I know is just self taught. I taught myself computers and technology at a young age. So I can build a PC from scratch, and I of course know my way around programs and the internet. Mostly though I love the travel world and that is why I thought I would give posting here on flyertalk a shot. Because I thought if anyone would understand who I am and what I know it would be a fellow flyertalker. I mean I am very into this whole world. I read here on FT of course and I read all the major blogs and follow everyone on twitter, etc. I of course have done a lot of traveling myself and booked plenty of paid and award travel. So I am extremely familiar with all the airlines and hotels and their programs and obviously I am strong at geography, airport codes, currency, etc, all the things that go with traveling.

Because of that knowledge the job I really see myself in is something travel related. I think I would be great as some kind of travel agent or something along those lines. If a company needed someone to oversee booking travel for employees and such I would be outstanding at finding the deals and understanding all that. I could also see myself as some kind of personal assistant. Are you a business person that travels a lot and needs someone to keep you organized and maybe travel with you? I could certainly do that.

Those are just some ideal things though. I realize that with no experience (aside from my just saying I know it, which I do, but obviously employers want more) it is difficult for me to find work in the fields I want. I have of course searched for jobs but I am always stuck when it gets to the experience part in the description. So I guess I am just asking if anyone here could help out, if anyone would be willing to take a chance on someone like me. I would be open to most any kind of work, just PM me. I am currently located in Ohio so Any FT's here I would love to hear from you. Again though I would be willing to relocate about anywhere even if its not a job that is anything real special pay wise.
