Hey everyone,

I am in my late 20's and looking for a new job. I have 2 BBA's, of Marketing and of Management. I have been employed in sales and marketing for over 3 years with a manufacturer of building products. I did most of the show coordination for all expos we attended and traveled probably 15-30% of my job. I am located in the southeast but willing to travel extensively or relocate.

Pm me if anyone has any opportunities. Thank you.

Sounds cool, but the salary seems like a show stopper. I guess the benefits make up for it though?

I'd imagine the promotion path and opportunity to travel is an even bigger incentive. That is, in its way, an entry-level job!

Maybe for you. My B.A. is a worthless liberal arts one from a second tier state school. I'm six years out of college and that's more than I've ever made at a job :(

I'd think the travel and various "duty" stations would be of interest to some.

Isn't that half of what I just said? :D

I actually applied for it, figured it couldn't hurt.

I would totally do it -- if it weren't the fact that it's not related to my field and getting back into my field would be extremely difficult (especially if I were to do this for 2-3+ years).

I'm seriously considering it except for the need to relocate overseas for a few years is not going to sit well with my other half. If this was a virtual position, even on call, I'd apply in a heartbeat.

It might be entry level, but years of project and program management experience would definitely come in handy here.

I seem to have misunderstood the posting when I got the impression it required one to take the Foreign Service Exam (per Google, the "Foreign Service Officer Test") ... although that in itself might be of interest to some.

It was also interesting to see in the courier job listing that colorblindness is a disqualification. Were I younger, I'd be a bit bummed about that.

They seem to offer laser eye surgery though (free I assume)... :D. ^^^

I would like to do it, and already meet some of the requirements, but it doesn't really fit into my life plan right now (unless they want to pay for an MBA). Another thing to keep in mind is you can't sleep couriering.

I'd at least apply but the idea of leaving Mr. Kipper and my dogs for a while isn't something that appeals to me.

That's what's good about having a B.A. in History and English Lit I guess, I don't have a field! :D
