I'm a little slow in uploading my pics but I promise to get them done by tonight.... or at least by the weekend!!!! Hahaha!

It's a bank holiday today, so I'm at home chillin'

Yes Gaz, you missed a lot of fun (and those are about 1/2 the photos that were taken)!!!! I seem to remember you being told you should stay!

Rubber ducky is now here in Chicago with me...ready & waiting to head back to SIN!

Zoo banned??

IF the Zurich Zoo will let us in.....There's likely some kind of inter-zoo communication network wherein zoo admin's talk to each other, and we're probably on some "don't EVEN let these people in here" list, and THAT pic is probably the one on the zoo flyer about it with the caption: "....and here's why."

If not, then in that Singapore mock up, do they have the huge fur-ball-ejecting cats and low flying bats??

That's it - next year I'm in!

Hated missing this year due to work in YYZ & Golden Globe party in LA - and oh yeah lest I forget, missing the SIN fares some got when UA briefly loaded some good deals last fall (drat, drat, drat!).

Great seeing pics - thanks Cheryl! And reading everyone's notes & thank yous, felt (well kind of) like I was there. Helps to have been once before so could visualize a lot - well, maybe not the rubber ducky part

skye1 called just as I walked in door from freezing (8 degrees ) YYZ to balmy (87 degrees ) la. Glad it worked out we could meet up for a quick cuppa at starbucks. Sorry to hear about your flight delays skye.

Sounds like a fab time was had by all! Cheers. sharon

Looks like everyone had a great time in SIN.....wished I could have left Seattle earlier....it's been raining all week, and today, I get my first peek of blue sky in a long time. Can't wait to get to balmy SIN end of the month.

I think I'm feeling a bit of withdrawal from that SIN wx! (Yeah, I know it was only 2 days there, but anyone from the Midwest US probably can empathize! )

can we set a date for next year already?

I am going either Shanghai, Singapore or Hongkong (or 2 out of 3) Nov 20-27, 2005 but V fares are pricing out at around $1000! (gasp!)

*resists taking potshots at the midwest*

I need to visit a food court. Need fishball soup, and crazy lady shoving a menu in my face for me to boycott.

Too bad all we have are malls (and yes, ignorant me thought that a food court in SIN would probably be inside a building near a local Macy's or Sears) around here.

I thought Cupertino Village would have something close to what SIN offers. Used to go to Banana Leaf or Straits Cafe to get my dose of SIN food. At least there's some choice in the Bay Area, compared to the mid-west.

Maybe you'll be the one to start a durian franchise in the USA.

"Djim Sox", coming to a mall near you, right next door to your favorite Panda Express, Sabarro Pizza, and Chic-Fil-A.

Meanwhile, you are wise to keep on resisting those potshots.......
