So it looks like there are some opportunities for mid-May, mid-July, and mid-October.
I'm downtown, so somewhere transit-accessible works best for me. In the meantime, if people want to do something impromptu, I can always go grab a table at some bar in the area. |
as Magnolia residents, Mrs767 and I certainly prefer venues west of Lake Washington
as far as north-to-south, we can recommend lots of craft breweries/distilleries/cideries and watering holes (most with either kitchens or food trucks, all with varying degrees of character/ambiance) between Lake City and Georgetown all the above opportunities work for us, pending my work travel schedules, and we’re always up for ad hoc meetups ;) |
Anything planned for now through May?
|
If I come up, it would most likely be either the weekend of April 29th or the weekend of May 13th.

⚽️ Seattle Sounders v Minnesota United match is Sun 15 May/1pm … Mrs767 and I have one extra ticket, since our son will be in Europe, but we’re certainly open to brunch and/or post-match meetups

PSA — Seattle cruise ship season starts this weekend (23 Apr); the schedule shows that there are two ships in port on Fri 13 May, three on Sat 14, and two on Sun 15
this basically means that popular attractions such as Pike Place Market, Seattle Center / Space Needle, and Pioneer Square will be inundated with several thousand more tourists than usual between about 9am and 3pm on those three days that said, there’s a lot more to Seattle beyond the convenient-to-downtown areas |

If we're on the subject of free tickets to stuff in the city, I have one free/extra ticket to see Itzhak Perlman tomorrow night at Benaroya Hall (7:30pm, doors open 6pm).
Super last minute I know. They are admittedly not the best seats (very last balcony row, center-ish) but hey, you can't put a price on free, right? Feel free to PM if interested. Edit: also Kenny G at Jazz Alley on Thursday night (the 9:30pm set). |
Well, that eliminates me. May 13 is my belated birthday celebration at home since I was celebrating my actual birthday recently in Thailand. I will be flying out of SEA on May 24 on the way to OZ Fest. I'll know later today if I can arrive at SEA on the 23rd at 9:30am from CMH rather than the 7:50pm so we can be available if anyone is around.

notional Saturday afternoon Ballard beer/cider crawl
10 locations, a total of 1.6 flat miles walking
https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1d49b25744.jpg I have no idea of which if any parts of this Mrs767 and/or I might entertain, but we've been to all these venues (plus a few more within a block or so of this route) and can recommend them all many if not most have food trucks between ~2pm and ~8pm; the one at Cloudburst (featuring Asian-style noodles and dumplings) is one of our faves ... there are a handful of other places to get a bite, either on the route or within a block or so |
I'm more than likely out. Have to head to LAX for family reasons that just popped up.

I am also west of the lake and north east of the university |
