Mrs767 and I are out of town 19-26 Feb, and have Sounders tix for Thurs 27 Feb ... the Sun 1 Mar match kicks off at 1200, so we could meet up with a watch party afterwards (we live in Magnolia, so thinking Pioneer Square, downtown, SLU, lower Queen Anne, Ballard/Fremont)

I'm just a NKOTB here without full voting rights, etc., but the Eastside or SLU or Queen Anne are workable, depending on the day. But I'm willing to trek to the Center of the Universe as well to meet good people.

Assuming the coronavirus situations in Seoul and Singapore don't worsen, I won't be around the first couple weeks of March, but don't feel bound to schedule this around my availability alone.

Planning ahead

Hoping to meet up in September , perhaps after game ? , as too many evolving travel restrictions at the moment

Going to the UW vs UM game .. hoping all ok by then .

I'm always up for a Meetup... So long as I'm not flying.

Early March would work for me, with the exception of the 6th.

How do people feel about say, happy hour or dinner on say, Wednesday, March 11th?

If people are up for it, we could make this a regular occurrence.

I'm flying SFO-SEA that afternoon, but probably could make it. Would be coming from east side.

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a thread into a poll, or add a poll into a thread somehow?

Ideally can vote on dates/times/location(s) that way.

I can add a poll to the thread but the options offered need to be quite simple. You cant have separate polls for dates, times, locations.
I suggest you vote on date/time first and decide the location later.

I would be interested, but the 11th will not work for me, so I would be interested in other future meetups.

Thumbs up

Count me as "Tentative but Probable" for March 11th. Waiting to see how a couple things on the schedule shake out.

I also like the recurring meetup idea. Maybe a Wednesday Happy Hour one time, a Saturday dinner the next, a Sunday afternoon something after that, Monday Morning Mimosas every once in a while, just to account for different types of schedules. (And thanks for spearheading this, Polytonic .)

How are people for locations? Downtown (or SLU) are most convenient for me.

I'm tempted to propose Yard House in Century Square (4th and Pine) though that also seems like a really boring and safe choice. :/

Or perhaps one of the Flatstick Pubs (SLU or Pioneer Square?) and can grab some beers and pizza, play some minigolf?
