I think what you're missing is that Spiff is saying that you shouldn't be posting this here. Community is for get-togethers for all FT'ers. Not for sharing cots, not for space for only one person, etc.
Surely you can find someone who wants an almost-free vacation with other people in their 20's by using your connections in the WeLookGood.com Network.
If not, well, I guess there's always OMNI.

Enjoy Cancun. Stock up at the Walmart or is it sams club down town. Buy lots of 40oz Coronas. I will toast a singha to ya!

OMG... there are no coincidences! I was just talking to a bunch of FTers re this exact kind of thing - and I do mean exact!
If you post "extra cot (and, gee, who wouldn't want THAT!)available in Cancun for spring break" I guarantee you that you are going to get the demographic you want. I cannot imagine that any self-respecting FTer over 29 - or under for that matter - will admit in public to wanting to share a cot/sofa. Why? When we can Priceline a Hyatt, get miles for a local phone call and nights toward diamond status?
What you cannot seem to grasp is that if you post that type of event the responses will be what you are looking for. You do not need to mention a specific age or style. That will always get comments. Always.

Just trying to keep up with the gals in the trailer park next door.

In before the thread is closed!
As an ancient fossil of 43, I have to say that after two trips to CUN, I have no motivation to go back... well, unless I'm connecting for a flight to Havana, Cuba.
As for sleeping on a cot? Uh... not even if I was 21 years old. Where ya gonna bring back the luscious drunk babe back for late night entertainment???

Me2!!! Let's dance cha cha here until the mods come closing down the thread...
<glenn miller's in the mood playing in the background>
Well, you made a good point about the cot... people before were saying that no single person over 29 with self-respect will share a room and sleep in the living room on a cot...
They give me backache anyway...
