Interested in Cancun for Spring Break 3/14 ,,,

1 person canceled on me. Looking for someone willing to party and stay in a 2 bedroom suite with 8 person jacuzzi and patio. You will be staying in living room with cot to sleep on. This is a major beachfront hotel, not a time share.. Have pics from last year if interested. Looking for fellow flyertalker in their 20s. Email me through discuss. Airfare not included

Please no comments if not interested.

"Please include your measurements and turn-ons to see if you qualify for a "bed upgrade"... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Sorry, you're going to get comments every time you post attempts to restrict FT participation based on age. Either stop doing it or get used to getting mocking comments.

Not to take sides here, but after a few Cancun experiences I don't think the older folks would enjoy spring break time there with a bunch of young uns.... My buddy and I took out dads to summer break once. They are down to earth fun to be with, completly felt out of place, had no fun at all other than the beach. People were making fun of them etc. Not a time to go when above certain ages. This is my opinion, and of course people have the right to disagree. Personally as a 21 year old who has seen it all just about, I can say Cancun is on the bottom of the list of a spring break place anyway, well unless I could convince my local friends to pull away from their jobs for a couple days (HAHAHHA LOL)

Actually, some of us who are over 21 still do spring break, Mardi Gras, etc. That's why I've counseled against posting age restrictions.

ROFL Spiff

Maybe the other person was interested, but saw the pics from last year http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif

Or maybe they turned 30 and had to be put down, like in Blade Runner? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

That's what I was looking for, Spiff http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I wonder why I couldn't remember it. Maybe I'm not old enough http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif

Or it could be Alzheimer's. That's what happens to old people, say those over 21.

alanw Feb 26, 2004 11:54 am

...though I have heard (before my hearing went, that is) that sleeping on cots in the living room can actually delay the onset of Alzheimers. Among other things.

welookgood.com Feb 26, 2004 12:23 pm

The person the spot is open and staying in the same hotel room for should be in the 20s range.

That is not to say anyone else can't join us.
If other flyertalkers would like to get together and meet down there or already planning to be there I am open to hanging out with anyone of any age and going to lunch etc as long as they make there own hotel arrangements.

Yeah, "Hey, baby. Wanna come back to my cot?" probably delays the onset of all kinds of things... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Once again, in not so many words, you're looking for a roommate but specifically excluding those not in their 20s. I'm sorry this is a difficult concept for you, but it's the reason you're being mocked. This is FlyerTalk, where posted activities are supposed to be open to all. This is not The Real World, Road Rulez, or Twenty-somethings Happy Shacky Weekend. Capisce?

welookgood.com Feb 26, 2004 12:37 pm

Please do not comment if u dont intend to go. I was offering a room for almost nothing to a fellow flyertalk due to a cancelation of someone who was going.

This is not real world. Just offering a spot due a last minute cancelation. Certain events I have admission for are age-specific so I'd like to go with someone who might go to these events.

If you would like to book a room at the hotel and meet me there I will def hang out with anyone regardless of age or anything else.

Spiff Feb 26, 2004 12:40 pm

Still missing the point...

Please don't post if you don't intend to make your "hospitality" open to all FlyerTalkers. There are other media for finding roommates who meet specified criteria, including age. FT is not one of them.

You've even been told this explicitly in the past when you tried to have your 20-somethings Do.

I am open to any members who want to meet me down there regardless of age

however there is an open spot in a room for a week for a potential flytalker member. i am offering the opportunity for someone looking for a almost free vacation.
