Hello All, Could you please kindly tell me how travel from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore?
What is the best between train and bus? How much for train and bus? How long does it take by train and bus? Thank you Within Flyertalk there are numerous forums, specifically for your question, the Singapore forum would probably be a good place to start: In the Singapore forum there is this existing thread on bus travel between Singapore & Kuala Lumpur: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/singa...umpur-bus.html I would suggest you read & repost your question in this thread. |

Hello,
My name is Eddie Owiti, and I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Flyer Talk Forums. I am currently a sophomore attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. I am studying Aeronautical Science, specifically with an Airline Pilot specialty. I am also hoping to minor in Safety Science as well as either Management or Air Traffic Control. In my spare time, I enjoy becoming involved in the community. I volunteered at a hospital for two years. I am now involved on campus as a new member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, and Silver Wings, a sister civilian organization of the Arnold Air Society that promotes professional development and service in the community. Winning the scholarship was an exciting moment for me because it not only made me realize that spending the time to go the extra mile pays off, but that the aviation community is very much supported by those involved. The award also has inspired me to want to help those around me that would like to start a path towards becoming a pilot. If you have any further questions feel free to PM me. |
Thanks for your information. Interestingly enough, I work in Health Care and am interested in working in the aviation industry. My dream was to be an airline pilot but just working for an airline would be dream. Any tips on how to market myself.

Hello to everyone!
Well, I don't like to be a newbie for very long and will try to gain experiences and to write some astonishing, extraordinary posts (lie!) So, I am a veeery good (lie!) software programmer, so if you aren't nice, I will hack the board (lie!). |
I'm a newbie. A coworker told me of flyertalk yesterday when I asked him about frequent flyer miles. I am in DFW area - I am planning a trip to Washington DC first week of July and Chicago in Sept.
Suggestions of where to start would be appreciated. |

Hi All,
I am new to this site and finding the lingo very confusing at the moment. Hopefully it will all make sense at some point. I joined recently because Im flying over to Europe, Canada and USA soon and I was hoping to get some information on things like choosing good seats, frequent flyer information, whether its worth joining Qantas Club to have access to the lounges etc. and any other bits of information that might help my trip to be more comfortable. So if anyone has any suggestions on forums I should follow, it would be much appreciated :-) |

These may help http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/faq.php http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/glossary.php Qantas Club only gets you access to Qantas operated lounges. In Eu-UK that only London Heathrow (LHR) and in USA Los Angles (LAX). May be others (check the website). Flying businesses or first class gets you access due to class of service. Otherwise lounge access is due to high freq flyer status. Please ask any questions about Qantas (QF) freq flying here http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qanta...ent-flyer-498/ |
more or less the same but based in LHR :)

Hello all!
I am from Seattle and in the process of planning some big travel to some totally foreign land. I've been to parts of Asia and Europe but never to the Americas outside the US. Thinking of South America next and am saving Delta, United, and AA miles for that! And also maybe picking up some Spanish in the meantime. :) |

Hi everybody!
I am new to taking advantage of all the various frequent flyer programs and credit card sign up bonuses that can make flying more affordable. I live in the Minneapolis area and fly to Vegas 3-6 times a year. My goal is to fly as cheaply as possible so I can take more trips. I get free rooms thanks to a hook up at a hotel so airfare is by far my biggest expense. I am also planning a trip to Europe in the next couple years and will be doing research on how to get the most value out of that too. I look forward to learning from all of you wily travel vets. :) |

Hi there,
Brand new to FT, and reward travel in general. I love travelling, and now that I'm a few years out of college and been able to improve my creditworthiness I decided to look into reward travelling as a way to see more of the world, and take a honeymoon for free. I'm a born and raised Seattleite, currently living in the Greater Seattle Area. Jeff |

Greetings all!
I've been a long-time lurker of FlyerTalk, checking in from time to time over the years but never registering. I'm a flight enthusiast but, as I regrettably never get to travel for business, I don't get out nearly as much as I'd like. Nice to meet you all! -Edward |
Hi everyone!
I joined FT a long time ago and then forgot it, but now back here. Used to travel a lot for business to some exotic destinations like LPB, ABJ, NSI, NIM, MPM or ISB. Now more focused on major European cities. I also enjoy cruising and therefore following Cruise Critic. Cheers, Jussi |
Who we all are
Hi there,

who we all are
Hello all.
New to FT, but a 10 year overseas travel veteran thanks to the footwear industry. Originally from Maine, but I go where the jobs are. Home (in that I own one there) is in Topeka, KS, but have lived in Shenzhen, China, Boston MA and now Grand Rapids, MI. I log about 100- 110K per year on business travel to Southeast Asia. Heading out again on Monday for Hong Kong/China/Vietnam til the 19th. |
Short time lurker. New Orleans Saints fanatic. Love affair with Las Vegas. Jack-of-a-few-trades for a leading provider of post-acute health care services. Business and leisure traveler. Currently pursuing an MBA/MHA. Just cashed in 100K for round trip to Sin City; need ideas on how to replenish. :)
